In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello Fauna,

First time asking questions in here but for certain reasons I wanted to see if anybody has traded with George Wilson? He inquired about a snake of mine if I'd be willing to trade. I won't go into main details just wanted to see if anybody has heard of this guy or is dealt with him.

Thank you all for your time

Jason Brock

George Wilson

Hey there,

We started talking about a trade, but when he started sending me pictures of someone else's turtles (Mike Fezdens albino snapping turtle), I realized that it would probably be best to hold off. He also did not want to ship first, which made me feel uncomfortable since he did not have any verifiable feedback or reviews.

Sorry I can't be of more help,

Steve Ingram

It might be helpful for the contact information to be posted. Email address, phone number, and things of that nature.

I received pictures from Steve Ingram that George Wilson sent him but it's probably best that Steve shares those with fauna himself. And also George Wilson sent me 10 pictures today of various Leopard tortoises and Indian Stars but for the life of me I don't know how to post them.

Thanks for the tip Nick!!! Right now I'm working from my IPad and IPhone but perhaps tomorrow I can airdrop some pictures from my iPhone to my Mac. One at a time will take way too long. But I will post the pictures that George Wilson sent me just to see if anybody recognizes them.

Pictures

Here are the pictures that George wilson sent me. I hope this helps.

Thanks,
Steve ingram

George Wilson

He approached me for a trade a few days ago. He offered to trade me a tneg female blood and a female banana pied for some of hognose snakes. I started getting a bad feeling about the trade when he told me that he didn't know the value of the banana pied. He told me that his brother produced her.

We began exchanging texts. During those texts he began telling me about his very high end turtle collection. He then began sending me numerous pictures of some of "his" turtles. After receiving some of those pictures, I couldn't help but think that they (the pictures) looked familiar. The next day I began researching and discovered that he used a picture that belonged to Mike Fezden (it was an albino snapping turtle). I contacted Mike and told him about it. He didn't know Mr. Wilson.

Another massive red flag that arose was when his reference, Ian from outback reptiles, didn't know who he was.

Looking back, the whole thing was screwy from the get-go. No one knew him (which seemed weird with the types of animals he supposedly works with). He's using other peoples pictures (without their permission!), his references don't check out and he refused to ship first.

After I pointed out some of my concerns, he quickly became defensive and told me that he did not want to trade with me because something seemed off on my end.

Thanks,
-Steve Ingram

I recognize several of those photos as belonging to others and not him and of course the hands shown in them are connected to a variety of different people.

He is aware of this thread, but has not addressed anything here. Probably working on the next false name to perpetuate his activities.
