    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Has anyone heard of this?

My son was looking for a corn snake, so I answered an ad on Craigslist. This is the e-mail I received in response...

sorry,you're a little late..i had him for 8 days and
when i came home,he was laying there,he had a weird
green spot on his belly..he died,i cant figure out
from what...plus he wouldn't eat is pinky,cause when i
was cleaning it out,i found the mouse with a black
head..have you ever heard of anything like that with
snakes?he was brown and white,but this weird green
spot was on his belly...i heard maybe it was b/c i
didn't give it bottled water..i thought it could drink
tap.i didn't think it mattered

Anyone have any idea what that sounds like it could have been?

It was his gall bladder. It's common in dead snakes.

You can find quite a few corns here or at cornsnakes.com.
 
Thank you for the info. I only contacted this guy because he was in our area and we could have picked the snake up rather than shipping it.
