    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I need help. I made my first mistake. Got a very young Boa from this guy i guess? the website was www.chaosreptiles.com Guy named Dan? No last name was given to me.

Asked for paperwork. Only got that this is a 2007 cb noprmal phase rtb, perfect health.

A card came with this paperwork with the address given above. But no one ever answers? This snake was a purchase for me from a friend.

Ok...well now after a month i guess if that? It's starting to turn on it's back today..hitting the Vet. Tomorrow, snake has eaten for me twice, then stopped.

Just like to know if anyone dealt with this guy? Before. Friend said he found this person Chaos.A.D. on myspace...I know, i know.

I can't find anything about a Tim Koppenhof.

Wow, no if so i have no clue where this snake came from. My papers ( what little info i have is typed out) say Tim Koppenhof. That's the name given to me as this boa was produced by him??

I'm confused.

The papers end with Chaos Reptiles LLC.

Hmm, ok. This is the guy that sent and i guess it was his at the time? Not sure. He never gave a last name. And that was NOT the name on the shipping box. Heres' to high hopes i did not end up with a rescue...i have many snakes in my collection, although this guy is and has been in another room. I need to find the breeder of it.

I just hope someone nows of this breeder that the snake came from.

Not sure is this Dan does the breeding, it seemed i guess like he may rescue or get reptiles from another source and sell them? I was told by my friend that this Dan has these animals. But...need the breeder to contact me.
 
First you need to figure out who sold you the snake, was it Dan from Chaos reptiles or Tim? If it was purchased from Chaos reptiles then that's who you need to go after, not whoever it says produced the snake on the "paperwork"; unless Tim has some sort of partnership with Chaos Reptiles. Your first stop should be the person that got paid for the snake and that's who's name should be in the BOI thread. :)

I need to find out where the snake actually came from. The letter that Dan sent said the snake was feeding and in perfect health during it's short stay with us.

See what i can find out..

Ok I think I can shed some light on this. The snake you got must have been the Male Circleback 100% Het Albino. I am guessign though.He could of sold you it as normal as he didn't have papers on it. It is the only snake I am aware of Dan and Josh from Chaos Reptile had from Tim. If it is indeed the snake I am thinking of then Tim Koppenhoffer of Special K Reptiles is were the snake originally came from. But also is not Tim's problem as I have never seen his snakes not eat. If you could tell us when you got the snake and what exactly it is it would be helpful. I vend at the Cleveland Reptile Show and know both Tim and Dan. But what were u trying to feed it and how long has it been since it last ate.
 
The snake seats f/t fuzzie mice. Twice no problem.

I did not get a male circleback. This snake was $150.00, normal phase rtb the papers say. I told my friend i want nothing without birthdates etc. on a snake. I got papers stating the snake was born in middle of March 07. Name must be wrong on my papers. It's Tim Koppenhof.

That's all i got. With a card Chaos Reptiles, number and site addy. I just emailed him. (Dan)

Contacting Tim over this really will not do anything. Tim is a great guy. One of the nicest people in the business but if you bought it from Dan then Dan is the one you need to contact.

I know both of them and as John said we vend shows that both Dan and Tim vend. But as far as I know Dan and Tim are not partners.

Dan is also a great person. He would not knowling sell a sick animal. I will shoot him a email also about this thread. It is only right he can be here to answer this thread.

I know them both and. The both are great people. I have bought stuff from both Dan and Tim. ANd never once had an issue with any of them.

Ok well we will wait till Dan comes here so he can shed some light on this then. As far as I know then the snake you got had nothing to do with Tim Koppenhoffer. Dan did have normals and if you got one of those cool still should be eating and all. I have many baby boas someitmes they don't always take f/t or they may not be hungary. So we shall wait and see. But make sure your temps are right in the cage/rack its in too.
