Whoa. Let me clear this up. You are sadly wrong. My cc company goes after the company who sold the item. I called my cc company today. They will not go after paypal. Paypal is only a safe means to pay for an item.

I have had items broken taken off my card before, i am no stranger to how this is done.

If i recieve an incomplete purchase, as i have i can make a claim.

So, i made a complaint, ok. Why did i wait months for papers that "are in the mail this week-end"!!!! Months ago?

What " Big Breeder " will waste time telling you to chase the paperwork on a N - O - R - M - A - L boa? The only reason I would need any paperwork on any normal is for tax purposes. Paypal receipt takes care of that.

Why is this such an issue? Dan has already stated before today finding the breeder is proving difficult & that he was trying to send everything at one time. Keep in mind ( when you find it ) that if the breeder has nothing left for sale then he has no reason to vend a show and may not be found till next year. If the batch of boas was sold as wholesale then the breeder may not even have what your asking for. It could very well be possible that the records are gone and unless pic IDs were taken the records ( if they still exist ) won't be able to match other than the birth date.

I'm sure that won't stop you from your life of crime stealing money back after selling the animals. Feel free to answer a couple questions you've been avoiding....

1) Was the boa sold while still sick?

2) If the boa was purchased for educational purposes then why does the sex matter?

3) Have you considered a new Psychotherapist? The one you have doesn't seem to be working.

Just for informational purposes, Credit card companies have their own time limits as concerns charge backs.. If this nut jobs CC company is a pack of morons and believes her they will go to paypal for the funds and paypal will give them the money. Then they will go after you know who for what they lost. Yeah I know it happened to me, paypal will roll right over and also just so you know they don't offer any protection on live animal deals. It sucks but that's the way Paypal sticks up for those who pay its bills...Randy

Just a heads up for all of you who came on this thread to be rude and not have any business with me, and NOT read.

I was contacted today via personal email about the person/s who vended the show that i bought one of the baby Boas from at chaosreptiles.

Seems the person was told about this forum. Also it seems this person, actually it's persons where at the OHIO SHOW! Vending, not sure of the details yet, but there. I now have the name of a person!!!!! Yes!!!! These snakes are actually not Red Tails, but sell them as you will i guess, Red Tail means alot to many different people. My snake i purchased has no red, pink or brick color on it, and as it shed only gotten more grey all over, so...

Anyway. Many of you asked why if i recieved email support from many dealers in the business why would i not prove it. Well, many of these people:
1) Either make a living off this business
2) Have a very great client base
3) as said by one dealer, "this thread is about a sale that was without completion, regardless of normal snake or not. A verbal and written agreement"!!!!
And my promise i would not post any of their emails on the board.

For all of you who DEAL reptiles and had to add YOUR .02 being rude and name calling, this will be here for others to see how you behave. You probably (should be) selling to friends of friends of friends, because as many have told me, when you sell reptiles you don't behave like many have on this forum, it's going to hurt their business.

An inquiry will be pointed out by me to this forum if anyone asks about say ByronsBoas for example. That is why the forum is here. That person behaved badly, and was extremely rude! I think a person would shy away from that potential sale knowing this persons behaviour!

Sure i had a sick snake, Dan even agreed with me it may have been dehydrated! Who ships a snake in a deli cup with a few pin holes all wrapped in paper shreds inside a sack in a insulated box with packing tape all over 90/% of the thing??? I never had a shipment like that. Dan says he was unaware, his girl friend did the shipping. Deli cup and a sack with all that insulation in SUMMER without any cool packs. Yes, the snake was not well for a time!!!

Anyway, the person who Dan Peck recieved the Boas from was at the Ohio Show!!!

Like Dan said, "he's at every show in Ohio, he's a regular"! Right he was.

Also the Boas are a tad older than what i was told, like a whole month in a half!!!

I don't want to hear from chaosreptiles ever again, or any of you other people who sell reptiles who need to watch how you behave towards others. Your sales will suffer.

I'm done here. If Dan mailed out any papers it will be interseting to match them up with what i get. But somehow i doubt he sent them.

My business is done with you people. I will stick with the big names and pay much more money as i always have done...i made a mistake at the hands of my my roomate and friend who knew i wanted to add another baby Boa to the collection...Wrong people to deal with for me.

I knew it would work out (well i hoped someone would see this) and it did.

Dan do not email me, or contact me in any other way. This was a damn nightmare!!! All for age and other info. that i was to get with the sale from you!

OK now I am down right angry, Sydney is one of the finest herpers around and is also my pseudo adopted daughter. She is kind, compasionate and well educated on reptiles, shipping, and is imaculate in her care for her animals.

What this thread should be titled is "Sellers Beware" a crazy person will ask you for paper work on normal boas, tell you it is sick, have a miraculous recovery, sell it, then still bug you for papers that were never needed in the first place, and attempt a charge back on her paypal account.

Just to show people what a snake from that clutch looked like here is a pic.

And as stated by me early in this thread. I would not give out the breeders info without his ok. And to tell you the truth every time I talk to him I just never even remembered this thread. But every customer that recieved these boas that I have sold that came from this source is 100% happy and the animals are doing great.

"red tail boa" is a very common name as we all know. There is many locals to it.

She did pick out the boa from pictures that were sent to her. So if she can't even recognize a red-tail boa, what does that say?
Don't drag in a third party unless you have proof of actually having talked to another human being. Kinda like vet papers... no proof.
And i know exactly how i ship out snakes, sweety. It was in a deli cup with holes in it (in case you're completely brain dead, thats what snakes are in at reptile shows). There was shredded paper so that the cup didn't get jossled around. and it was in a styrofoam lined box. And sorry for packaging it with tape... what did you want me to use? Down here, on planet earth, we haven't come up with a better way to keep boxes closed.
And where are you getting this bag? in your previous posts it was just a cup.... somehow a bag appeared there too now?
Next time i'll just hand them the snake and hope it gets there ok.
