In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi,

This is related to my previous LLL Reptile post. I thought maybe I'm better off purchasing a baby Green Tree Python from the breeder, not a vendor.

So has anyone purchased or done business with Bushmaster Reptiles? In particular, green tree pythons. I guess I'm a little cautious because they are bred in Indonesia and then shipped to the states. I believe Bushmaster has a facility in Indo.

Please let me know your experience...

Thanks,

Peter Fromme

p.s. Yes, I tried the "search" function first. Unfortunately, many of the post are rather old and don't entirely address my issue.

Peter,

Yes Bushmaster has a very large breeding facility in Indonesia and produce alot of nice Chondros. Also there are a large number of vendors here in the US that sell their animals that were bred in Indo. Bushmaster Wholesales to alot of other sellers so some of the animals you might be looking at from another vendor very well might have come from Kamuren at Bushmaster. I personally have never purchased direct from them but have received great animals that originated from them and their farm.

We have done business with Bushmaster in the past and have never had any problems with them. We've purchased several Green Tree Pythons from them and always received high quality, exceptional animals with no problems at all. In fact, we just sold our last Green Tree Python the other day so we'll be placing another order with them soon!

I have spent thousands of dollars on purchases from Bushmaster and have never been dissatisfied even once. Some animals were wc, some cb, but all were represented honestly. GTPs are one of Bushmaster's specialties so I don't think you could go wrong buying from them.

I have known Kameron for many years, both as a friend and doing business with him. He is a stand up guy, and his animals are always what he says they are. I have bought thousands of dollars worth from him, and continue to do so. The greatest thing about Bushmaster is his customer care. He tries to make sure there is no undo competition between his customers. Having a store in Vegas, I was delighted when he called me one day and asked if I would mind if he started selling to a wholesaler who had just taken up residence in Vegas. Since I was such a long and established customer, he would not sell to anyone else in my population area without my permission. I found this to be just some of the greatest customer care that I had ever heard of. I do know that he only sells wholesale, so you do have to be an established business to purchase from him. One of the best and honorable reptile businesses I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

I have been dealing with Bushmaster since 1995. Always top notch animals. Many of my breeder Brazilian Rainbows, Hog Island & Red Blood breeders came from them as babies. You can find cheaper but plan on compromising quality in doing so.

What about this cold weather??

Hey,

Thanks everyone who responded to my post. I will difinitely give them a call on Monday.

One more quick question, which I'm sure they will answer this for me tomorrow, but what are their shipping standards? I live within the NY metro area and it's damn cold. I think it's in the high 20's or low 30's.

Would they ship two baby chondros to be shipped via Fed Ex in weather like that? I curious to know if others receive shipments from Bushmaster with the weather being so cold.

Thanks,

Peter F.

Don't skimp...

Peter,
If you're gonna be spending a couple of hundred on your chondros go ahead and spend the extra 30 bucks and travel time to have them sent DASH. Those little chondro bodies will succumb quickly to the slightest chill.

Good luck.

I have never done any business with bushmaster but I agree with Danny on the chill factor. I have raised several baby chondro's and in my opinion you need not let them get 65 degees or lower. They are hard enough to deal with as babies and you don't need a sick one to top it off. So pay the extra money and do the DELTA thing. I will probably start doing business with them in the near future. I have seen the website and they seem to have a good business going. I am pretty sure they attended the big Orlando/Daytona shows. Thanks DAVID

Bushmaster - Awesome !

I met Kamerun back in the late 80's while attending University of Colorado. He (Bushmaster) was selling reptiles back then, and is selling them today (longevity !). Kamerun sells some of the nicest WC, CB, CH animals on the market today. I just had a deal three weeks ago with him, and was sincerely delighted with the transaction.

Bushmaster is truly a class reptile supplier !

Thanks, Stephen Emerick

:)

Do you have to be a established company or breeder to buy from them? My husband and I are just starting out and want to possibly buy from them directly?

I posted a couple of weeks ago....only good to say about Bushmaster. Snakes expertly packed and delivered UPS. In spite of the cold, they were in great shape. Heat packs cover things pretty well. I've had more problems with Delta Dash than I ever had with UPS or Fedex.

Kamuran will sell to any one who meets the $400.00 minumum. He is a wholesaler & doesn't send pics unless your spending over $1000.00 for one reptile. At first I wasn't real crazy about buying sight unseen but I've spent thousands of dollars with them since the mid 90s & never had one bad snake (out of hundreds). He tells you what your getting & provides many of the pythons you see on the market today from his farm in Indonesia. He's not one to chi chat very long on the phone as he's a busy guy but he sells the nicest stuff out there for being a wholesaler. You might be able to find cheaper but he never lets anything leave his facility unless its up to par.

I'm in the N.E. and wouldn't consider having anything shipped right now with these temps ... especially baby chondros.
