    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hatching Babies?

I had a few babies that hatched with there there placenta ( not sure what else to call it) attached to there out side. All most like they are hatching before there ready.They have survived 3 days so far but i have lost some while they just have hatched. This was new to 2 of my females clutches.I keep the incubator at 85 and i have hatched over 100 so far.They hatch near 60 days give 1 or 2 days either way.
 
it is fairly normal for them to hatch with their yolk sac hanging. usually it is absorbed within 18-24 hours of them hatching. when my babies hatch I do not take them out of the incubator right away, but it is gone almost always by the time I take them out. If it is not gone I place them in the baby bin on a wet papertowel and it is usually absorbed soon after that.
