    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

first of all Im from Buenos Aires, Argentine (South Hemisphere).
On the 11/29 hatched my first two babies...
Each one has its own tupper, water bowl, calcium dish, two hides and mealies in a dish...
Temps are just fine...
but they dont seem to go for the mealies....
I've also tryied feeding them newborn roaches (I raise them), but they just stare at me and scream!
Sory for the long post!
Please Help Me and help them!

Have the hatchlings shed their skins yet? Normally hatchling leos will not start eating until they have shed. If your temps are ok, give them a few more days and hopefully they'll get the hang of it! I have had hatchings that are slow to start eating. It's easy to get anxious about it, but try to leave them alone as much as you can so that they don't stress, and watch for them to shed. If you're still having problems in a few days, check back in! Best of luck to you and your babies! :)

Mine don't eat until after the first shed either, some maybe an extra day. Just hang in there and they should shed anyday now (Usually day 3 or 4) and start eating for you.

thanks for the fast reply! I really appreciate it!
I hope to catch them when shedding..

Leco,

Just check on them a few times a day and look for their faded color as a sign that they will be shedding soon. Again, good luck!
