Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I would have to say that the current 2 chats should stay set the way they are. Some of us need some stability. lol

Everything after those two is a bonus for me and I will make whatever chats I can.
 
I think weekly (at most) scheduled chats would be nice....if you can come up with enough guests/topics. Beyond that, there isn't any reason why you can't just go to the room at any time to chat it up about any old thing. Just find a time where a good number of people have some free time, and decide to meet there. I can't chat all the time, but if I know others are there between 8 - 10 (or whatever) then I'm bound to pop by when I can.
 
More chats simply mean more chats I will forget about and show up late as everyone is dumping out of the room.

I like the idea of impromtu chats myself. I get excited when I see other leo people in the chats. Ok so excited is an exaggeration...... :rolleyes:

Anywho, I say what the hey if I make it yeah for me, if I don't yeah for everyone else.

by the way, all these mideast wars, gas prices go up, and STILL no new imports of fresh leos..........I might have to vote independant next time..... :uzi:

I do agree with Jeremy that our two regularly scheduled chats should stay as they are. So that leaves two open weeks. Let me know what days you decide on and I'll post it up.
 
I don't think that the chat should remain highlighted all the time, it should be highlighted on chat days and during chats. That would be a good reminder.

It really depends on what you guys want. Personally, I think it could get a little confusing that way. I do want everyone to get a chance to participate in scheduled chats, but it may not be possible due to the different schedules people have.

Does anyone else have any input on this issue?
 
as a new gecko owner

and becoming addicted to it as much as I am addicted to snakes, I will soon be haunting the chat for advice from all of you. It is nice to get "instant" feedback for some of the rookie problems. I'd love to participate a few times a week.

Well, just pop right in! There have been a few of us in there every night this week.
 
I hardly ever make chat nights because I usually forget, but Friday and Saturday nights work best for me.

As for Guests, how about Albey or The Macks
