    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi Daniel ,
look under the python classifieds at kingsnake, she has some ghost balls posted. I just hope that if anyone is interested, they will check out these posts before they send her that much money. I'm really surprised that kingsnake still lets her post, I know that I am not the only one that has reported her, so I don't know whats going on.

Marcus, I really hope you get your snakes soon!!! I know how frustrating it is to wait, and wait, and I'm sure your worried about the conditions they will arrive in after hearing about Andrews ordeal. One of mine did come with a staple in her and they were all extremely cold (I'm sure the UPS guy probably had his air conditioner blasting), but I'm just thankful they all arrived alive. Have a herp has really earned a bad reputation for themselves, I know I will NEVER deal with them again, it's better to pay a bit more and KNOW that your going to get your animals than to pay for a bargin and left guessing!! Don't get me wrong, I too will still deal with the small name sellers, for the most part all have been great, but I will be more cautious the next time that I am unsure of someone.

Hello all:

I too have ordered ball pythons from Have-A-Herp and have not received them.  I foirst sent in a check as a deposit and then a M.O. for the balance. I had to go out of the country and Angela wrote back and stated she would hold them for me and ship when I got back.  I contacted her on May 20, and the 23 asking when she would ship and how. No reply. I have read all the other complaints. I am hoping she will either send the snakes or my money back.  I have also tried to get a telephone number but to no avail. I think her business practices are very unprofessional. I see that she continues to advertise on Kingsnake.com which I am surprised to see. I will continue to contact her this week.  If I do not receive either snakes or an email from her by Thursday, May 30, I will be contacting Kingsnake.com and the authorities about fraud.

As the saga continues on Herp Wars..! OK here is my status with have a herp.  I filed a complaint with kingsnake.com and with the BBB. I gave her one last chance on Saturday to email me something. I told her to mail me by noon or at noon:01 the police were being called. I think that somewhat got her attention. I recieved an email saying that her wholesaler did not ship out her shipment of snakes  therefore she could not ship out mine.  OK. She told me that she would refund my money, just email here the amount I sent her.  I sent her the amount and told her I want my refund sent out today and she replies:
your money will be refunded i do not get paid until tuesday because monday is a holiday however your payment will be mailed out wendsday morning as that is my day off next week. I cannot get off work tuesday to mail it and i am scheduled to work from 7 am to 7 pm on tues. however wends morning i will go deposit my check and will have the bank do a money order and will mail payment off to you via 2nd day service.
So I am supposed to get my refund by Friday.
I just have one problem. I sent her a money order on thursday May 9, she did not get it until monday. According to her it takes 10 business days for a money order to clear the bank. That means my money order did no clear the bank until last Weds-Fri. Should she still have the money I sent her. From what I can see is that she got my money, spent it and she did not have my snakes <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':angry:'> . I wonder if I am the only one having this much trouble with have a herp. I do not wish to hurt anyones business, but if I do not get something by friday snakes money or a christmas card from have a herp there will be no more warnings. What do you all think? thanks

From your and others experiences, and what she told you it is pretty obvious they are brokers. Once they receive the money, they order the snakes (that's why it doesn't matter that they live in an apartment as the snakes are re-shipped shortly upon arrival). It seems that their supplier did not ship in time so they could not fulfill their end of the deal in timely manner too. At least that's the only possible explanation I can think of for the delays.

Angela from Have a Herp also wrote to me stating she could not get the snakes, same story as yours, and she would send out my refund on Wednesday. I am going to give her a few days after Wednesday to receive a refund. Please keep everyone posted, and so will I. Hopefully we will get our refunds and go on. I too, would hate to have to go through the hazzle of filing fraud, but will if it comes down to it.

I really hope that she sticks to her word and sends your money back. She should have just told you that she didn't have the snakes instead of wasting your time! She shouldn't be selling animals that she doesn't have on hand. Good luck and keep us posted.

   This is Al from have a herp.   Angela and I are no longer together. I do want to say that even though we are not together I still feel partly responsible for the delays in everyone getting their animals and/or money back. Therefore, if Ang. doesn't send you your money back please email me at [email protected] and I will make full restitution to you. I do not want to see any harm come to her even though we are no longer together so the only thing I ask is that if she does not send you your money back and I have too (which I am more than happy to do) please let it go at that. If she owes you money or animals please email me at [email protected] and let me know your info   the total amount  and any other info you feel relevant, then if she does send you your refund please also let me know or if you do not have it in like a week or so from her please let me know and I will send you payment.

I have been following this thread, and I have just an opinion or two on this  if no one minds too horribly.  And even if you do <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

I think Al's offer is awesome and above and beyond what anyone should do for their ex's business.  Kudos Al for wanting to make things right, even if you are no longer a part of it!!!

BUT...

I don't think you should bail her out for her business mistakes, unless you were a party to all those mistakes.  It appears Angela has made her bed...and we all know the rest.  I fully appreciate you for not wanting any harm to come to her, that is very noble that you are willing to help cover her mistakes to make it right with her customers.  But again, they are apparently HER mistakes, and if she is going to continue doing business in this way, in my opinion, she should have to learn to deal with these issues herself and make up for htem herself.  

And on another note...

This is not a bash at all brokers by any means(I have even done some brokering myself in the past, but no longer), but not getting your animals due to a shipping delay is ALWAYS a risk when dealing with brokers.  If the animals don't arrive the THEM on time, they can't fill their orders on time, and it just trickles on from there.  That is why I personally will only buy from people who have their animals on hand these days.  It is all about who you think you can trust in the end, though.

Best of luck to everyone involved here in getting restitution(NOT prostitution <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>) on their deals.
 
I do not have much time I am on my lunch break. I just thought I would up-date you all. Angela did not send me a refund like she promised. I have had no contact from her. As far as Al. I emailed him the day he posted his thread and he has not replied either. I have no other choice but to follow through on my threats. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would start by filling out ALL of the reports that kingsnake has provided links for, report her to kingsnake abuse, then I would contact the Havana Police Dept. The number is: 1-309-543-3321. You have given them more than enough time. It's strange that she holds money orders but yet she spends the green after it's cashed! Good luck and I hope you get your money or snakes soon.

I too saw Al's ad and contacted him since Angela also owes me money. I wrote him that I would give her until Wednesday June 5, to receive a refund and then I would contact him about payment. I did not get a reply from him either.  I also wrote to Angela asking if the payment has been sent out. No reply as usual. I also saw she continues to advertise on Kingsnake.com.  I can not believe they allow this. I think her business practices are deplorable and if I do not receive my refund from either her or Al I will also file fraud charges with as many entities as possible so that others will not be ripped off. Most States (usually through the State Attorneys Office)now have internet fraud departments which investigate these crimes which can be a felony since her "business" is interstate commerce. I will post all the information for others when I get it.

Marcus, good luck, keep everyone posted, and I guess it looks like I'll start filing complaints later this week.

P.S. I am going to email this message to both Angela and Al tonight.

They are currently offering ghosts and hetero for ghost ball pythons at incredibly low prices. With all that we have heard so far it seems somewhat odd that they are still allowed to post animals for sale. What's the current status on the restitution of animals/money for those involved.

I spoke to Al today about the ghosts posted on kingsnake. I was told they have babies from a "green phase" ghost that are a week and a half old. And babies from a "yellow phase" ghost that were born there in March - April. I was told that he produced them. I asked about sending payment and he said that I could make payment either to Al Heck or Angela Fletcher. I have an address and ph. number that I will post tomorrow morning when I get back to the office. Good luck to all who might be interested in these but I for one am not.

Well since the last time, I emailed my comments to Angela and Al. No response and no restitution. I warn anyone, do not do business with these people!!!! You will just have headaches. If I do not receive payment tommorrow, I will pursue all fraud charges. I think what they are doing is criminal and will pursue it. I hope Marcus has had some luck. I'll keep everyone posted.

Wait just a second here !!! I thought Al's last reply here stated that he and Angela broke up ?? And that HE was going to make right !!! I guess they kissed and made up. I hope the word gets out quick about these people. SOO many excuses and 1 happy customer !! Would you want to buy from them ?

Regrettably, I don't think it is. Not until they quit taking other people's money. They are still posting animals for sale. It seems the owners of kingsnake.com need the money of their advertising badly, and they do not ponder what they are doing to their site's image.
