• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Have you ever?

I've heard of people breeding small males, not that small though. Through my personal experience I found that just because a male is " breeder size " it is not a clear indication he will breed. I've founnd with some males you just have to wait, when they are ready they will.

I have a terrible time with young males period. I have one who is about 350g now who I am trying to get bred back to his mother and nothing so far. I am hoping that between now and April it may happen but if not, there's next year.

I'm not having much luck with young males, either. My smallest ones (that I'm currently trying to get to breed) are between 400-500 grams. The biggest one that I'm having problems with is a 600-700 gram '09 male that doesn't seem to be able to figure it out.

As far as breeding at 200 grams, I don't think you have much of a chance with him. Not only is he most likely not sexually mature, but your smallest female is going to be at least 6 times his size!!

I dont breed anything less than 750. The tend to drop too much weight and breeding that small/young just doesnt seem right or healthy. I think of my snakes as my kids, a 200g snake is like a five year old, not ready for anything yet. IMO I think you should wait a bit.
