10000%, I'm with John on this one. In my opinion you started out strong with a good case against him just being impatient and then you post that you are withholding the refund because your feelings were hurt by this thread?????

Paypal WILL find in his behalf, you didn't send the package (snake) and that's all they care about. Just refund him his money and be done with this nonsense! The longer you withhold his money the more it looks like you are scamming him out of it! Why risk your reputation just to be spiteful?

On a related note to the OP, payment does not = immediate shipping! I have waiting to ship and waited to get a shipment for over a month because of weather. To DEMAND shipping in spite of potential weather concerns/ lack of someone being there concerns is just ludicrous!

People do any of you have a business license in your state. The customer is always right... Do any of you have pay pal accounts and under stand the rules. The seller got his money as pay pal confirmed the address and the SELLER posted to pay pal that he shipped the order. The business transaction was processed for him to get his snake.

People the seller is to ship the product once he received the funds. And for those of you that can look up the weather, no problems there. Read the weather 61 degrees look it up on Google guys. No weather issues there or here in sunny Florida. When you sell something you must have it in your hands to ship out the next day when the fund are given to you.. Weather issues I think not, as there are heating pads. I am new to this business but I am the bookkeeper and advised him to file a claim. shipping out two more weeks, I don't know any business that would do that and would be allowed by the credit card company and/or pay pal. As the PCI for credit cards has rules that when you charge a credit card you must ship out in 24 hours or they can lose their merchant account. I really don't think Pay Pal wants to lose their ability to process credit card payments for billions of customers because of the lack of professionalism of this seller. At no time did I read in the ad that their was a deposit required to hold the snake and ship out later. Pay pal has strict rules about shipping product after funds were received. When Pay Pal confirmed the order it is confirmed. What other excesses can he come up with now. Business is Businer ss, You the seller are responsible to follow though vacation or not. by the way Fed-EX wll come to your house or business for pick up and you can drop off at the airport on Sundays. Again. To me the buyer has all rights to complain and file a claim.

He never shipped the snake just sent this to us through PayPal.To try to cover his tracks during the whole scam.Elronza and Hank Boyles agreed that Hank could ship Monday or Tuesday.So when he sent this through PayPal that said on Sunday the 10th that the snake was shipped,but listed no shipper or tracking number;we knew something was wrong.And yet and still waited until the evening of Tuesday the 12Th after not getting any replies from Mr.Boyles to file our dispute with PayPal.

I agree. As I have said, I now would not deal with either party to this transaction.
I am hoping that others will be civil, not stoop to drama and over reaction, but instead take the high road. Some of my (low) opinion of the parties was formed by review of the facts, but inevitably some was formed as I watched how each side handled their posts.

I must say this thread is just "Miscommunication" all the way around! When I get payed through Paypal I still contact the buyer and get them to type their address through E-mail and get a phone number for the shipping label.. this way.. if they need it shipped to someone else's address or work address as sometimes happens.. at least I have it in writing and I ALWAYS confirm the day before I ship just to make sure that someone will be there to accept the package... Common sense comes into play here!

I have to say though with the way both parties have handled this I would not want to purchase/sell to either of them! If I have someone that DEMANDS that I ship a certain day I will promptly refund the money and let it go... I will not have an impatient buyer put my animals at risk! It's better to be safe then sorry and patience goes a long way.

Hank.. I would suggest just responding to the Paypal dispute... refund the money and be on my way. I'm pretty sure that you've lost some business by your response to this fiasco!

"IAMGOD" I understand that Elronza paid and Hank claimed he send the snake based on that screen shot you took. Unfortunately, even if Hank is a scammer, most of the attention got pulled away from him being showed in that kind of light because of the outlandish actions and remarks that Elronza threw on this thread. If Elronza was cool headed and didn't create so much drama most people that are not showing any sympathy for you two wouldn't feel that way. Like I said BOTH parties in this thread are at fault for many things. Hopefully Hank does decide to send you the snake, but in all honest I don't think he is and of course I don't feel that is right or fair to you and Elronza JMO.

You have no clue who does or doesn't get infractions on a thread.. the only people who know that are the person who gets the infractions and the moderators so you can't use that as an excuse for your own behavior. As far as the deal goes.. I don't see anyone using any racial slander other then yourself. I would hesitate to deal with the seller in this case but definately wouldn't ever want to deal with someone with your attitude!! You sound like a kid in a candy store who didn't get what he wanted and throws a temper tantrum. This whole thing is about miscommunication and the way that people deal with problems tells A LOT about their character and business practices and both parties here didn't deal with this in the best ways!
