    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi, Frog newb here.

Pleasure to join all of this knowledge. That’s exactly what I’m here for. I want to learn more about my frogs also unique and cool tips and tricks for their vivarium. Hopefully the photos will shows but here’s my 2 babies. Spartacus & Oenamaus!

I also added some pictures of a new 15g column I’m finishing for their new home. Looking to add a nice waterfall feature, I’ll be adding the monsoon auto misting system as well.

Any colorful plant recommendations or ideas will be greatly appreciated.;)

Welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy your stay with all of us. I adore the genus Dendrobates. I am not a horticulturist and or a botanist. So, unfortunately, I can't really help you with plant suggestions. But, your specimens and the vivarium you are working on looks fantastic.

Hey, welcome to the site. I have a bromeliad that is really awesome, a Guzmania hybrid. It isn't with animals right now, but I've learned that they are safe for small frogs and lizards and very hardy.

Thanks for all the support!

Here’s an update of the vivarium

@elena I actually just bought a guzmania bromeliad thank you!

Anyone know where I can get more citronella frogs? Or a species I may be able to mix with these guys. Everywhere I look, the citronella are sold out.

The two dart frog sellers I've gotten the best stuff from are Black Jungle Terrarium Supply (they sell plants too), and Josh's Frogs. I got some extremely nice fine-spot leucomelas from Black Jungle, which I believe are compatible with tinctorius (but check first). Josh's frogs usually has Citronellas available, I've gotten them before and they were great sellers. Websites:

http://www.blackjungleterrariumsupply.com/

https://www.joshsfrogs.com/

I'm sure there are a lot of other great sellers out there too, these are just the ones I can personally vouch for.
