• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hello everyone,

I'm new here and been looking around for the last couple of days. Really nice forum you all have here. My name is Jimmy and I just got into the hobby last year when me and my wife got my pet Ball Python last year. I have completely fell in love her and I'm now looking forward on getting a new snake next year. I found your forum when I did a Google search on the screen name of someone off of Youtube that was giving out bad info on snake care and wanted to find out more about him. Boy! When I saw some of the stuff about him on the BOI it was real eye opener! Thanks for having that info here to let me know to steer clear of him. I have one other hobby besides keeping snakes which is writing. I write horror and other genres and already have one book out from a small press. If ant of you would like to know about that please feel free to PM me about it. Anyway I hope to learn more about snakes here and get to know some of you better. Later.

That is along the lines of how I found this place 2 years ago.. I got scammed.. and AFTER the fact (stupid me) I searched for him online, and found a very bad guy post of him in the BOI.


I signed up that day, and never left!!!!!!
