• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

i arrive and some ppl are so nice, some people just read the page, (thats cool) some ppl spend 100 bucks on fauna and think they have the right to post a smart comment like there opinion even matters.:yesnod:

Some of those views were quite likely search engine spiders. This site is heavily indexed by all the search engines.

But in any event, welcome to the site..... :wavey:
 
Honestly, when I first read your comment about views and posts I thought it was a bit snarky as well.
I just chose to answer it with humor and see how you reacted to better gage your intent.
From what I've seen (I actually spend way more time reading than posting) Lucille seems very nice and generally serves as the unofficial peace keeper. I think that's why she has Facilitator under her name - she facilitates calm rational discussions and tries to keep things on track when others start to foam at the mouth.
Just my take on it.

Don't take it personally, there's noobs walking in the red after four posts so it could have been worse :D
 
sorry, not 100% on what was snarky but never ment to come across like that, thats not me. maybe ill spent more time reading an less time talking:)
 
Meh, it's the net, no tone of voice/body language to judge intent by. :shrug01:

Don't stop talking, just realize nobody here bought their way into their respect or status here. That's why I like it, the mods post and talk just like everyone else, we basically run amok and if one of them does swat it seems to be deserved & you do get warned first.
Just read the rules and you'll be fine, this place is about as fair as it gets.

And wander around, there's both funny and informative stuff floating around.
