In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello, everyone. :)

New to the forums. Don't have any beautiful reptiles to show off just yet, but I'm looking to change that very soon!

Welcome, where in CA are you located and what reptiles are you most interested in?
Im in Oceanside and mainly work with Carpets, Yellow anacondas and Tegus.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! :)

Mightymouseec04, I am located in the Central valley. Basically, in the middle of Fresno/Bakersfield and the bay area.
I can't seem to recall, is Oceanside north or south CA? I've been up and down SoCal quite a bit, it's just hard to remember which place is which, haha.

I have always admired yellow anacondas (ball pythons and emerald tree boas, too)
I personally have never been gutsy enough to take on large snakes.
Or snakes at all, for that matter. Tegus really are awesome, though I totally lack the space for a reptile that size. Is there a place on the forums where you have posted pictures of tour animals? Would love to see them.

My primary interests are, bearded dragons, leopard geckos, uromastyx (though I have yet to have the pleasure of actually working with one), and chameleons. In the past, I have worked with mostly veiled chameleons and leos. I had a male veiled for quite a while. He could be really insufferable when he felt like it, but he was all hot air. He lunged but I never got bit.. go figure. My female Jackson's cham was much better behaved, but fragile.

I'm in love with ambilobe and ambanja panther chameleons, and probably always will be. The same level of obsession has recently extended to the mellers chameleon, but again.. I just lack the space to accommodate such a beast.

I'm done gushing. Sorry!

Hello and sorry it’s taken some time to get back. Oceanside is located north of San Diego and just north of Carlsbad.
I have not posted many pictures of my collection on this form but do have a page for all my reptiles and breeding projects. It is AJD Reptiles on facebook. I understand not wanting the large size snakes and honestly understand. Larger reptiles require a lot of work and more space. I don’t feel the yellow anacondas are too large and actually have been great intros into large snakes for me. The tegus also take a bit more space but they are worth every bit to me because they are such rewarding reptiles.
We look forward to seeing your reptiles and interaction. Best wishes.

Hello,
Yes that video is of my collection and the reptiles I owned at the time. The gentleman picked up a baby yellow anaconda on feeding day and asked if it would be ok to video. The tegus are my puppies and are pure Argentine Black and White tegus. They are great and not aggressive at all but this has taken work over the years. They are typically food aggressive but that’s the most I have witnessed from mine.

Welcome! I am new also and I think this looks like a great forum. I look forward to getting to know you and learning a lot form all the members.
