    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello, my daughter and I recently adopted a Ball Python. We were able to do quite a bit of preemptive homework here prior to getting him. So, thanks to yall and the great information here his little move went incredibly smoothly, and he seems very happy in his new digs!

Well hello from Southern California! (I've always thought that it's so neat being able to meet people from all over like this :p)

Congrats on adopting a ball python, I hear that they make wonderful pets! :thumbsup: I personally think it's great that you guys researched beforehand too, very smart, no wonder he's happy in his new home! :D
If I can ask - Have you two picked out a name for him already? :)

Howdy! The kids are leaning towards calling him (Slick). I was pushing for Fred. As in most things involving the kids I will likely loose. :)

Haha Well I think that they both sound pretty cute! <3
Here's hoping that you guys get to enjoy Fred/Slick for many years to come~ :D

Thank you all! I have been thrilled with the quality information I have been able to glean from this community. And it is refreshing to see online communities that I feel safe letting my kids check out!

pythonpaintjobs, when I was a kid many moons ago I spent every single day wading through muck in the creek bottoms around my house collecting every imaginable kind of reptile. I kept a few favorites for years. But for the most part I just enjoyed catching them, checking them out, and then releasing them.
