In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hello, my name is Beth Fortner, I've been working with reptiles over 6 years now since my first garter snake and mediterranean house geckos. I'm entering college this year, and my passions are herps and falconry. I currently have 1 Burmese Python, 4 Ball Pythons (.1 Norm, .1 Cinn, .1 Spi, 1 Pastel), and a Red-Tailed Green Racer. I hope to start breeding Ball Pythons this coming year or the next, as well as potentially breeding the Racer.

I've always been interested in reptiles, particularly snakes, but unfortunately my dad is one of the stubborn few to deeply despise snakes for no apparent reason, and will not listen to any sorts of logic. Even though I love him and respect his wish by not letting him know about 4 of my current snakes. It's not that I'm being rebellious, it's that I know the one pure reason he hates them is because of his own views of them being "evil", and if he doesn't know about them he won't be upset. I have one year living here, then I'll have a nice big snake rack and cage for the burm and racer in good ol' Texas Tech (Wreck 'em Tech!) where he, nor anyone else, will have to worry about these "satanic" creatures. Every other animal I've introduced him to has been fine, including getting a hawk, but for some reason these guys are especially evil. I guess it's just the way he was raised (the irony, right?). Of course, he's already threatened to slice them open while they're still alive and gut them, leaving the entrails in front of my door (which I'd never let happen in my life).

Anyways, I'm glad to be part of your community and would love to learn from you all. I hope one day I'll be able to sell some nice babies to the folks that love them so much, and look forward to any friendships, sellers, and buyers I come across!
