    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello from Kissimmee, FL! This is my first time doing this so forgive me! My son has taught me a lot about snakes and I had happened to fall in love with an amenlastic corn snake. I named him Jackson and hes 5 1/2 months old. My son also has a 6 1/2 month old normal corn snake named Isabelle and a normal ball python named Diego that is about 4 months old. We are now looking into a Bairds Rat Snake that is 3 years old and very good tempered! We also have 8 cats ranging from 11 months to 12 years old and one 7 year old dog. What does everyone else have? :thumbsup:

Hey Sherry! I'm Nate..and i'm just north of you by a few minutes :D

I've currently got 5 ball pythons, two het pieds. Are you guys going to go to the F.I.R.Expo coming up in a few weeks?? Have you ever been to a reptile show?

Hi Sherry! I'm north of Gainesville, maybe I'll see ya at a show! Planning on attending the F.I.R.E. show?
I have ball pythons, one cornsnake, one blackthroat monitor and a argentine tegu(currantly hibernating proving himself so far to be the world's most boring pet) in addition to cats and dogs, bettas and rats and african rats and the latest addition of the african pygmy mice.

Hello back and Thank You

This is actually my first snake my son has two. We are thinking about going, depends on our schedules. Right now my son and I are in the works getting a Bairds Rat Snake so we are trying to set up his home before he gets here. I have noticed that once you get one you just can't stop. That sounded a lot like a potatoe chip commercial! LOL

We really wanted to go to the one at Daytona but I had to work! Darn!! I know there was also one in Tampa. Since you guys have been before, can you take your snakes with you or not?? I think the only fear of going to one of those shows would be coming home with something you really didn't intend on getting! Just can't window shop, I know typical woman! LOL

Thanks for welcoming me, since I am fairly new at this and my son has been my teacher I thought I would bother everyone else with my questions. I think he's getting tired of my 10,000 questions!! LOL I will post a picture of my Jackson as soon as he sheds. Right now he's in blue face and doesn't like to be messed with. I have learned to leave him alone and when he has shed he will lay out for me to handle. :D

Well here's the details on the F.I.R.Expo. It's at the Orange county Convention center

Saturday, Nov 4th and sunday nov. 5th

It is not recommended that you bring your snake to the show. I don't think they let you in the door with it...not 100% sure on that, but I don't take the risk.

Thanks

Thanks for the link, I do believe we will have to go! We have been to the Serpentarium where George Van Horn does his shows and that was really informative. We even got to hold/touch an Eastern Indigo. What a beautiful snake!!! This sounds like a weekend event, don't want to miss anything by trying to hurry thru the booths!
