• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

New member here from the northern parts of Indiana. Started reading on hognose snakes after my nephew talked me into helping him get started in raising one. Spent some time reading and decided to go ahead and buy a few. Called Greg Bennett and talked his ear as well as picked his brain for quite some time. Purchased my First 3 hoggs early in March. I began to really like these little guys so I bought a few more and built a rack as well. As of right now I have the following start.

1.0.0 - Anaconda poss. het Toffee
1.0.0 - Albino
0.1.0 - 100% Het Albino
0.1.0 - Poss. Het Albino
0.1.0 - Poss. Het Toffee

Built my First rack out of 2 Workforce 24 X 36 plastic shelves. Has 10 shelves powered by Vivarium Electronics VE-300X2 controller on 4" flexwatt. This stuff is getting really addictive and I cant wait to begin breeding next year. I have another snake or two to purchase to prove out my poss. hets but other than that I think I am set up for now. My wife has also agreed to let me add a herp room in the basement soon. Thanks to all for the great info on this site and I hope I can add some input as well some day. This site played a huge part in getting me started with these hoggs. I want to thank Greg Bennett for all the help and time he has given me to help me get started as well. I couldn't recommend him high enough here!!
