    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi!

I'm Bex (Rebecca) and I'm in Lansing, Michigan, though I was born and raised in Australia. I moved to the U.S. in '98 and have lived in Michigan since, though I'm eager to move back home again once I finish my degree. I'm working on a PhD in criminology here at MSU and should finish up in a couple of years (... I hope).

As far as 'fauna' go, I live with my American bulldog, two cats, and a short-tailed opossum. This is probably the smallest number of animals I've had since I moved out of my family home to go to college. In the past, I've kept/bred sugar gliders, guinea pigs, corn snakes, LOTS of fish, and I'm really into keeping planted aquariums and terrariums.

I joined this forum 'cause I'm on the hunt for some gargoyle geckos. They don't seem very popular around here. I've only ever seen one or two at reptile shows, usually tucked in amongst HUNDREDS of cresties, and they're usually just a boring grey color. I recently saw a picture of a red garg and was totally hooked. That's what I'm on the hunt for now - colorful gargs to get a little collection started. If you know someone producing them, let me know!
