    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good evening, My name is Brian Lovins, I own and operate Lovins Reptiles, I have been vending shows in Texas for a few years now and vended NARBC Tinley last month. A little bit about me, I have been keeping Reptiles on and off since the late 70s, I took a break from keeping animals in the 90s when i was in the military, I first begin breeding leopard geckos in 1999, but joined the reserves in 2001 and due to life circumstances I left the hobby in 2003, I switched to the fish hobby for about a decade and was very active on fish forums at that time. I came back into the reptile hobby about 6 years ago and began with focusing on leopard geckos again but then began branching out to several other species of geckos inuding Rhacadatylus, Nephrurus, Goniurosaurus, Phelsuma, Coleonyx and a few others. I also breed redfoot and yellowfoot tortoise, several species of turtles, and working with spiny tailed iguanas (pectinata and bakeri) and several species of colubrids that will be reproducing this year or next. I enjoy the diversity that comes with working with different species. I am a firm believer that education is ongoing and I am definately not an expert. I have been a member here for a while but not active, a friend I met in Tinley recommended this forum over other social media platforms so I figure I should start using it. I think that sums me up pretty well. Thanks for reading all that.

Brian
