    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just realized as I was posting that it was my first post here.
I am somewhat new reptile keeper( I did keep reptiles briefly as a child).

I have four lizards ( or five if I count one that escaped and I cannot find, I feel bad about this and I've been worried about him, since we had a cold snap in the meantime).
-Two green anoles ( one who got away and is hopefully roaming around in my basement)
-Two crested geckos.
-Eleven yellow spotted salamanders. Once again I am unsure because my last headcount came up one short, I did not do a tank teardown and they hide well. They are a burrowing species so most of the time when I look in the tanks, I don't see any salamanders.

I have a wishlist that includes adding more of the lizards I already have.
The person who sold me the green anoles was unable to sex them so I think I actually ended up with two males and a female. While mine seemed to get along, next time I will try and make sure a person who can sex them is there, so they can get me a female. I'm waiting on another terrarium heater and substrate so I can setup another tank for the new green anole( who I'm calling my Easter lizard now).

Due to my crested geckos unexpectly living in separate tanks due to one growing faster then the other and me being unsure of how much of a size difference is safe, I also have plenty of space for more geckos now, provided they are the same sizes as mine because I don't want to setup another crested gecko tank.

Most of the rest of my wishlist consists of frogs( I want at least one frog tank) and possibly a veil chameleon. The veiled cham is the most demanding creature on my list and I'd need a bunch of equipment, plus the screen cage so it'll be a while if I ever get one.

I'm also hoping to add another 55 gal tank as I have a slot to put one, but I hardly ever find local used tanks and I missed out on the Petco sale. Would probably become my frog tank.
