    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

hello! i am going to get a bearded dragon, a red one in particular. i am going to build a nice cage for it. i can't wait! i am getting it in the spring, since that is primetime i heard. i am going to pick one out and have my local petstore get him in, that way i don't have to pay shipping. i am so happy. :scatter:

be careful on what your pet store gets in. some stores get dragon in bad condition and trust me i have had it happen to me. had a baby for a week and it died.

I agree with the above. There are reptile shows in your state where you are likely to get a much more healthy animal with no need to pay shipping. Just a thought.

no, this store is educated and it gets the seal of approval. the only reason i will is if we don't pay shipping. if we have to pay it anyways, then we will just order it to our house. i am going to tell them exactly which dragon to get, when it is ordered in, i will go get it.

I know you started this thread awhile ago but I just happened on it today when I was looking something up. As you can see I go by Beardie and I'm is S.E.Michigan. Anyways... as far as buying a beardie from a pet store. You will be paying the store something above and beyond what they paid for it so it will still be like your paying shipping. I think that you would be happier and get more of what you want if you go to a local reptile show. The one I show at is the Michigan Reptile Show in Taylor Michigan. It has regular shows the second Sat of every month. I don't have any reds available right now but I know that there are two people that show there off and on that have great reds but they can be expensive. There are shows throughout Mich. Just due a search ad something should come up. Good luck with your future dragon!
