• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a problem. It's been about 15 years since I scratched the itch and now I'm back to selling my things to feed the addiction. My wife is embarrassed by me, although my kids don't seem to mind. I'm an Architect, putter maker and eventually would like to become a breeder... just to do it. Ever since I was a teenager who bought and bought with no sense of what was too much, and how many animals one should keep in a one bedroom apartment... I've had the goal in life to breed (and I'm not talking about my kids, everyone and their mother seems capable of that!).

I'm into Varanids especially since they represent a mind bottling family of extreme diversity in size, coloration and habitat... yet they seem to look eerily similar and act even more eerily similar. I love dwarf monitors the best because I love having a mini Komodo Dragon.

And ironically, I will be having a putter coming out in a month or so called the Komodo Dragon! Yeah, I was outa the game for a long time even though I never really left. And for giggles, I'm gonna throw in a poll! Just saw the link and said why not!

Welcome, but to answer your poll...Que what? If that's a joke, then I'm both too young and too old to understand it.

The only things I understood in that whole sentence were "What is the, of an, swallow"...Yep, them's the only words.

Welcome from a fellow newbie! I'm in much the same situation as you. My poor wife lives with the shame of having a husband who is both a falconer, and a reptile nerd. I'm just getting back into the reptile world myself.

Falcons are really cool... if I had the time that would be an awesome hobby. But I golf... so there!
