In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Just joined and wanted to say hey! I'm interested in lots of things relating to biology. Especially sea related or all things arboreal. Looking to start off with my first reptile soon. Most likely a gecko. I've been doing my studying for a while now and I will probably start with a Cresty... Though I really am drawn to Chewies, Sarasins, and Satanic Leaftails. I also really like Chameleons and I'll probably get one of those eventually too.

Welcome to Fauna! Cresteds are a really great choice for a beginner, with their ease of care and low cost. Leopard geckos are also a good beginner gecko. If you ever have any questions, feel free to post in the gecko forum, or whatever other section you're interested in!
