• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hello

We have a corn clutch and a Thai Bamboo rat (coxi) clutch incubating right now. They are on day 33/32 respectively and it is driving me wild waiting for them to pip!
Although I've bred a few other reptiles, including one litter of Rosy boas, these are my first snake eggs, so that is probably one reason for my impatience! I have not been able to decide which is better or worse, live birth or eggs, with the eggs, the waiting is at least broken up when they lay and show you how many babies one might end up with but then you get to fuss over the eggs, hoping nothing goes wrong with incubation.
So far I've lost/am maybe losing several eggs from each clutch and have not been able to determine anything I've done wrong with them, which is especially painful with the coxi eggs.
With live bearers, it is just a long, uncertain wait. Are they actually gravid? How many are in there? Etc...
Currently doing that with our BRB pair we tried breeding this year, I am still not certain whether she is actually gravid or its just wishful thinking on my part!
 
Oh yea! When I started breeding I had a really good relationship with our vet who the first few years incubated them at the facility he didn't even charge me but he loved my cal kings so I did give him a couple youngsters. Same when I started corns I gave him one but that was 15 years ago. Since I been doing my own tho I've lost some eggs and am always worried my incubator would French fry haha next year is going to be alotta fun I have sum bulls and pines and also my favorites the kings! I have some interesting ideas for some cal kings that I have a pair of one of the newer morphs that I'm gunna try to breed the stripe phase into this morph and was told that so far nobody has tried it yet so I know its still about 5yrs or so to accomplish it but I may be the first to have stripers with this "color phase". Even if it doesn't go the way I plan it I still have some fun projects anyway
