    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi everyone,

I'm brand new to both this site and the world of reptiles, I'd always wanted a snake growing up, but my grandma was dead set against them, so it's only now that I'm on my own and in college that I have the ability to get into them. I'm planning on purchasing a corn snake within the next year or so, want to give myself time to get the proper set up and do all of the research so that I would feel comfortable having an animal in my care.

Not sure if anyone here is from Oregon, but if so, hello! And, for future reference, do you happen to know of any good Corn Snake breeders in the area? I'd prefer to buy from a breeder since it's my first corn snake, and I'd feel more comfortable if I had someone in my corner, if that makes sense.

Thanks in advance, and I'm really glad to have found this amazing resource!

Hey everyone again! I just got my first baby corn snake yesterday, Rumplesnakeskin! :) I don't have any good pictures yet, but if anyone's willing to settle for a crappy cell phone picture from the store, here it is: http://imgur.com/M4TDtHh

I'll try to post more pictures when he's done thinking that I'm a terrifying beast who will eat him at the earliest possible opportunity. :)

Gotta better picture when he came out and climbed into the leaves for a while! :)
