    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Help ,cat Attacked My Gecko!!!

i need some help with my gecko. shes lost her tail after a cat attack and she also has a large gash (though the cat didnt hit any nerves or major blood vessles) on her shoulder/ side of neck area.
she droped her tail directally at the bone, when i applied polysporin to it i could touch the bone.

plz any information on how to keep her uninfected or anything would be apperciated!!
 
Make sure you keep her on moist paper towels. Dont have anything in there she cuold tear hersolf on more. And no loose substrate or anything.
 
When one of my male leos got a nasty gash (from another male...lets not talk about it...) I used neosporin on him. No humid hides, any loose substrate will stick to the neo and infect the area again.

However the moist paper towels can sometimes cause the area to start "smelling" as it can get a fungus. I kept mine on dry paper towels and it went fine. I can't even see the mark anymore! :)
