    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Greetings,

I am in need of information on snakes ( snake in question being a 6 ft ball python) being safe as a pet with a child in the house, or how snakes dont pose a threat- something along those lines.

I am looking for statistics, printed resources ( I know I read something I think was from the Barkers) or anything that can stand a chance as being proof in the court system.

If anyone has any info- can you please link it to me?

I have been asked on another forum, and have since then lost all info I had ( I actrually did a college paper on how HR611 was obserd, and used some info on the net as references)

thankyou all in advance

Go to USARK's website, they have a lot of statistics regarding snake injuries and deaths. None came from ball pythons, by the way. They're too small and timid to really do anything, even to a small child. Their first inclination is to "ball" up rather than bite, hence their name. And a 6 foot ball python is HUGE for a ball! I sincerely doubt it's that long, the largest I've ever seen maxed out at right around 5 feet, and that was a whopper 3000 gram female! If she's really that concerned, get a male ball python. They're smaller than the females.

Yeah- measurement was prolly guesstimated- but the mother inlaw/whomever it is dont car e if its a 1 inch snake- SHE thinks its dangerous toa child...its one of those people....

ill have to look harder on USARKS page. Thanks for the info.
