In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Help me out

hi im lookin for a cool reptile that will be fine in a 10-20 gallon tank. i want a reptile that will breed alot and arent really expensive. no snakes or spiders... thanx

have you considered nothing? they constantly breed and soon after you get a pair of nothings you will have lil nothings running around. i suggest using nothing as your substrate as well. plus theyre easy to care for cause all they eat is nothing.

or you might want a bearded dragon. maybe a cayman or panther chamelleon, red ackie, uromastyx, skink, cat eyed gecko, rhachodactilus (sp?), tokay gecko, blue belly (fence lizard), collared lizard, anole, beaded lizard, scorpion, gerbil, hedgehog, ferret, chinchilla, red eared slider, sulcata, pac man frog, poison dart frog, leaf tailed gecko, black tree monitor, or wait...i know.... nah, forget it.

A corn snake, a leopard gecko, or any small lizards!!

Chad, I know your a Californian.......ya wanna know why?

cause you said "blue belly".....aaahhhhh
brings back childhood memories!

lizards...

I always called them "blue bellies" and "yella bellies" and "horny toads"... back when horny meant something that had horns!

blue belly's are what I used to scare the girls with.

Now all they have to do is see me....gone!!!

i remember the time i caught on at the park and took it home, i put it in a 10 gal glass aqaurium and was going to keep it as a pet. i think i was maybe 6. that same day mom said we where going to the store or something, and i just had to give my little lizard a kiss good bye, my family still teases to this day about the little boy running around the garage screaming with a lizard attached to his bottom lip, lol

horny toads... those are cool. pretty rare you see those around here anymore. im pretty sure now-a-days theyre protected.

whats a yella beely...other than a coward?

diablo i didnt ask for u too be a f*ckn prick..any1 wanna help me out besides him

hey cool guy...you came onto the LEOPARD GECKO FORUM asking what kind of animal to buy.

youre either stupid or being sarcastic.

take your meds dude. either that or stay off the forums when your drunk.

besides your question was answered ten times over!!! overton already told you to get a leopard gecko.

but i must contest!!! you are not worthy of owning such a nice animal.

i suggest that with that attitude you start with a house plant...something that requires little attention and wont be affected by your sour attitude or your inablility to observe the obvious, jerk.

haha yea ok buddy w.e u say...oo no u called me a jerk lol..if i wanted to listen to an a**hole id fart..so jus stfu nd dun talk to me no more

seriously...

I think a Leopard Gecko is a great choice! They are beautiful, tame easily, live a long time, don't require any special lighting, are quite robust little creatures, deficate in one area of their enclosure, and have great personalilties! Not to mention, they breed easily in captivity. They make wonderful pets... whether you are a beginner or a well-seasoned reptile keeper.
