    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was wondering can you but an male and female l;eo in the same cage when they are yonger than 1 yr. old?Not for breeding pupses. :bolt01:

How old are they?

You can but they will breed so make sure they are of good weight and size cause they will mate sooner or later. If they are babies of coarse you could keep them together for a few weeks without a problem, but they will breed much younger than it is safe for them to.

i keep every single one of my geckos separately unless breeding, even my females which alot of people house together without problems.

if you do put them together they will eventually breed as Wendy said and if you are not trying to get babies from them and do not have an incubater then the eggs will go to waste and your female would have used up nutrients and resources for nothing. not to mention the stress involved with breeding for both males and females.

and if shes not about a year old at least then shed be making eggs while she is still developing.

Wendy and Vinnie are absolutely correct. You shouldn't house the male and females together unless you want them to breed. I wait until I'm positive that both the male and the females are big enough to breed without bad side effects (like stunted growth). The last thing you want to do is hurt your geckos because you're over-ambitious! It's better to be safe than sorry.
