    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Help!!william Alexander Is Ripping Me Off $400.00

you think that all animals look alike, what I was getting at is I showed him a picture once , I told him I could get him a pair, I NEVER SAID THAT ONE WAS MEANT FOR HIM...GET THAT >>UNDERSTAND....WHERE he came to the conclusin that all collared lizards look alike I do not know..
Now your saying that because he saw a picture of one of my collareds he should expect any and all to look 100% Identical to the one in the pic? The one he has is equal to or just as nice period, but no two animals are going to be identical..
LET ME PUT THIS IN CLEAR TEXT FOR YOU...

HE KNEW THAT ONE WAS SOLD...HE KNEW THAT IT WAS UNAVAILABLE FROM THE BEGGINING....ANY QUESTIONS

So saving a pic and saying this is what I have to have, must be 100% identical to this animal or else is UNREASONABLE
STOP ,THINK about it, NOW WHAT ABOUT THE PAIR HE HAS NOW..he won't show pics to anyone..
 
That doesn't sound very fair to me ...he keeps the 120 lizards and 100.00 is deducted, maybe if he sent them back I would agree to those terms, but to keep the animals and then get to deduct there value is not fair to me... so I am out 220.00 over a pair of collared lizards!!!!

I did not say these lizards are not up to, i told you not to send any thing but what you promised and i sent an image, i was going to come out there and you and i where going to bag some of these in the wild, This trip was something i was looking fore ward to very mush, Ring a bell. right to the last minute here come the excuse weather was wrong wind blowing. But no problem you,ll go your self, Will you know that black mark is on me you put it there . as some as i can post emails and images i will, You know how slow I'am.
 
My apologies, as I meant to include that the lizards be sent back, and was only paraphrasing the deal as outlined by Alias I believe, a few posts back, and adding a few comments. The return of this collareds is vital if the $400 in dispute is to be adjusted by their value. My bad!
 
Not to throw this off topic, but isn't anyone else curious about
HOW or WHY EIGHT box turtles and TWO bearded dragons died
during all of this chaos? Cripes, I would have sent either one of
you $400 if it would have prevented the poor animals from dying
while you banter about all of the other shenanigans.

Are you open to the deal that has been put out?

Take the cost of the lizards out of the $400, and send him back the rest and the lizards? He did say he would pay to ship them back.

All you two would need to do is agree on a value of the lizards, then all this can be put to rest.

You seem to be having a difficult time stating specifically where the deal went wrong for you, in terms of what you did not receive, or expectations not met, and what their value is. If you don't want the collareds sent, then work a deal and send them back, as has been suggested by many. If you do want them, but feel they did not meet expectations, then put a value on the reduced expectations (lets say 50% of $120 = $60), and withhold $60 and send $340. It seems with every post there are more and more extraneous details that have no bearing on the deal, but might qualify you as a writer for an upcoming soap opera, again as pointed out by others. This is not rocket science (thank God !!). Bill, you are looking a tad weak here, and the solution is pretty simple, eh?
 
Bill doesn't know whats he is talking about, the 1st collared lizard he has ever seen was that pic, he knows nothing about them...nothing that what make this so crazy, if he only knew how much trouble I went to make him happy, I had to call in an old favor from a friend who I have sent these too in the past for breeding stock, I asked him if I can call in the favor and get the best pair of captive bred animals he had, this was the ones he was keeping for himself..not second picks...he sent me the best pair he hatched which is nicer or as nice as the one in the pics...
Bill recieved them and doesn't know what he has...and I am getting rakked over the fire for it... Bill knows how to email picks, all he has to do is look below under the smilys on the page where he replies from , the thing that says manage attatchements thats where they go ,upload and post..very simple...
I have a suggestion...
deduct half there value ..keep them and send me 340.00 and it is done...
 
below you can see where he also stiffed me 135.00 on a trio of black kings, I paid for them at his request and he never paid me back for them...I still have them and I am trying to sell them...

At the time I was spending 1-3 hours a day teaching Bill how to keep animals, I have saved him thousands of dollars in losses...he was a mess when I met him. I really was dedicated to him being a success, why don't you tell them what peple were doing to you Bill before I came along...EVERYONE was taking advantage of him..he was getting hammered left and right...I had his best interest at heart that's why I did so much for him...This guy was good friend until he got his feelings hurt..honestly I miss the old Bill, he was going through alot...I guess his family stresses got to him...so he now is taking his frustrations out on the only person who helped him...

Please do not get defensive. You began on an extremely unprofessional level; I can see you are trying to keep this on a business level somewhat now. Do not turn on those who point out what they see on either side in this transaction, after all, the public nature of this forum are why people post here on the BOI.

Justin, you are going to win or lose this one on your facts.
I agree that photos would be a good way to look at some of the facts here.

Seriously, how can Bill turn this down?

I don't deal with these lizards, but hell, Bill, I will pay you $60 plus shipping for them and you will only have to pay Justin $280. :cool:

This, as well as the second thread on the same topic, has been pretty much a jumbled mess, and it appears to me as if Justin has gone above and beyond to try and just get this over with. Bills emails are borderline unreadable, and I believe this is far more about "hard feelings" than it is about lizards and photos.

Just my opinion, as I know neither of these gentlemen...

I appologize...just with all the stuff i am going through with my fiancee I was really counting on the cash, thats why I got him the best, maybe I could of went out and caught him some, there everywhere here..but that wasn't the point, the point was to get him the best..now I am out 400.00 and I my fiancee is the one who has to deal with this mess ultimatly with her health, this guy doesn't want to be kind, I would never do this to someone I knew went through so much, I did what I could ...what Bill is doing here is making a spectacle of a persona matter, we got into a fight, I told him I was through with him , after that is when the trouble starts...it's not about the lizards it about making me pay dearly for insulting him...If he were a decent human being he would see that I tried my best and pay me so I can take care of my sweetheart...
I am frustrated beyong belief, i am actaully shaking here over this mess and havn't eaten in 2 days...all over a pair of collared lizards...he won't even offer a settlement
