In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Help!!william Alexander Is Ripping Me Off $400.00

cash recieved..thank you Bill...I think we both need a beer now...Good night to everyone and everyone remember what went on here is now over, Bill is a great customer and a good friend to those who are lucky enuogh to make his aquaintance,we had our differances and maybe we will get past them...I do regret the things I said and did in the heat of the moment...But hey were past all of that now and cheers !!! Tomorrow is a brand new day!

Excellent, this has been quite stressful, but we all have learned a great lesson here. Kudos to both Bill and Justin

How's that saying go? With friends like you who needs enemies? I think it is quite fitting for the both of you.

Griz

Man, this has been more of a "man soap opera" than professional wrestling...

I was hoping that this was going to be settled in a Steel Cage Match, but I guess the fact that Justin got 75% of his cash back is a good enough ending...

;)

awesome

Justin I knew it would work out,im glad to see it did. This seems to be a good customer to have 9 g's man. Justin my ? to you is do you think he would have still paid you,had you not come public to the BOI with this?

If it causes you that much stress to read about stubborn dealers, why bother? Sounds like you need a break from the BOI if you're carrying drama from one thread into another completely unrelated thread. What do you have against Justin in the first place? That you think he's just another Adam of Millenium Morphs? I don't see the parallels, and you don't seem to be doing anything constructive by throwing accusations around, calling Justin proud, greedy, stubborn, and unwilling to fix a problem. That's a lot coming from someone who's never done business with Justin.

Well, I've purchased from Justin before, and I have a completely different impression of him. He strikes me as the type of guy who is generous with customers, who will hook them up with good deals, and who is not about trying to get his money's worth out of everything he can. Look at the prices he was selling some of his holdback animals for on Kingsnake to generate money after the hurricane. (I think I saved a few of those ads onto my computer, if anyone wants to see.) That doesn't strike me as being greedy. Look at how willing he is to lower the price just to get some money back from Bill and drop the issue. That doesn't sound like a stubborn person to me. And lastly, have any of you ever bought from him? If you think the prices he lists on his sale ads are pretty nice, well, he offers even better prices (up to 50% off) for repeat customers.

I think everybody here just needs to chill out. We're obviously not showing the best of ourselves here with Justin being stressed about the financial impact on his personal life and Bill feeling like he's been ripped off. The solutions that have been suggested sound simple enough. This just doesn't seem worth dragging out forever.

Maybe you are right Olivia...
Maybe I do get too involved...

I was not trying to make a direct personal comparison of Justin to Adam...or trying to "carry drama from an unrelated thread" the only reason I pointed to the Adam thread (and it could have been ANY thread) was that it was fresh in my mind...and sometimes it takes seeing things as a third party to truly understand how your position may be damaging you. I did NOT do this to slam ANYONE...but to show that being unwilling to compromise can be detrimental.

I did say he was being proud, stubborn and greedy...based solely on his actions pertaining to THIS transaction (He went so far as to say that Bill was "threatening my Fiancee life with this crap"...that is pretty strong assertion)...not on his track record...and I only did so to point out that a compromise would settle this to everyones satisfaction (which has proven to be the case)...and show what a good guy he is.

No I have never done business with Justin...
If this is the way he treats all his loyal customers I would not want to...but obviously from the support you and others have shown, it is NOT the way he usually conducts his professional life. I have nothing personal against Justin...I do not know him...and I have no personal history with him OR with Bill...

I think there is definitely a lot of underlying personal feelings that were involved in this transaction that nobody but Bill and Justin are privy to...it is evident that they have a history that is much more than just a business/customer relationship...and I for one am glad to see that they have come to agreeable terms and concluded this...I think it may have been far more damaging on a personal level than on a financial level for both of them...and I do sincerely hope that they can mend their personal relationship now that this transaction has been completed.

Nice to see two people that are at odds come to terms so quickly and successfully...I think it shows how close they really are...and I hope they can continue to work together in the future.

Bill was a good customer...but keep in mind there are differances in how you treat custmers and friends...
With friends you are obligated to give them hell when they need it and support when they need it as well. Sometimes it means a slap on the back of the neck, other times a supportive hug...but always staying honest with how you feel is paramount.
With customers it is different, of course you should try to be there friend , but also doing buisness means looking at there side of the issue and not dismissing it, or arguing the fact, even when you feel to the contrary...a customer pays for service and should be considered right always ( to a point), and sometimes giving them a piece of your mind ...sometimes even when they really deserve ...is not always the best thing to do...with custmers you are obligated to make them happy and satified with the deal...Friends you are just obligated to be there for them and support them when they need it...
If I treated my friends like customers that would not be in there best interest and I would not be a good friend.
If I treated customers as friends it could get in the way of good buisness and pehaps feelings could obscur the right decision because you expect more in a give and take realationship.
...sometimes when you do buisness customers become friends and vice versa...distiguishing the two afterwards is the complication...they say never let your feelings take over in buisness matters and that is true...they also say being a good friend means caring for them...it's a fine art balancing the two and not letting one affect the other...an art Bill and I have yet to master...
I hope I made sense here...

You make perfect sense.

I retract my prior statement...I would not hesitate to purchase anything from you (as long as you would still be willing to sell to me...LOL)...

You have most definitely proven you are reasonable, rational, a good guy...and most certainly HUMAN...

Your deep seated friendship with Bill is what clouded this issue for me...and many others as well, I would assume. Your personal feelings and business agreements were being put together as one...which made this something that was definitely NOT cut and dry, but personal and emotional. I was looking at this strictly from a business relationship point of view...and it went much deeper than that.
..I am glad you were both able to find middle ground. I hope that the two of you can get together for that herping trip sometime in the future...sounds like a couple hours and a 12 pack would probably fix things up nicely...hell...if it does happen...I'll send the money for the twelver...
