• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

help!!

What size enclosure are you thinking about? For a young Ig you may want a different size than a grown one. I have a friend who has built 8 of them for his own Iguanas. Some of his wooden cages are 7 feet tall, 5 feet wide, and 5 feet long. He uses a plastic coated wire mesh from Home Depot and even just plastic mesh on others. The doors are locked with pin bolts. Using a full 7 foot by 3 foor door, Even some have a half door. Each cage has a different size bas being 5 to 7 feet wide or long. He has 3 cages built with PVC pipes for the frame and plastic mesh to keep everyone inside. These three are 7 feet tall with a top and bottom doors that are 3 1/2 tall each and 1/2 feet wide. Zip ties to tie the mesh to the PVC pipes. To keep the doors closed are Velcro strips. Inside are a variety of ladder designs that criss cross to the top of the cage. Be creative and you will be able to build something really nice. He is currently in Kentucky for quite some time so I cannot share his actual designs or show pictures, sorry. I am babysitting his reptiles while he is away. Good luck.
