    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I found a black refridgerator on the side of the road and thought what perfect timing finding this with breeding for me coming up soon in a couple of months. Thought Id be prepared and work on this thing slowly before its time so I'll be ready.

What do you guys think, should I use one sheet of 11" flexwatt here pictured in the bottom for a heating or should I add more flex watt. Also I was worried the heat will be heating too much of the bottom of the 6qts, would that be a promblem? Where should I place a computer fan?

What would you do on this door. I was thinking water bottles? Or should I put the flexwatt here?

Thanks for your help :D

I'd put the heat tape in the bottom like in your pic and I'd put a sterilite tub full of water on top of it. The water in the tub would keep the temp constant/stable as well as add lots of humidity. I don't even think you'd need a fan in such a small unit but if you wanted to it certainly won't hurt. I would point the fan upwards so it doesn't evaporate too much of the water and cause dampness.

I had a fridge Inc.. almost just like that one. I had the heat in the bottom and a raised cover over it that was only supported at the corners so air could circulate easily. I mounted a small fan on the back wall just above the shelf I built and pointed down to blow down and across the heat tape. Also cut the door so I could have a window but you don't need one. Also I put a tub of water on the shelf I built and it worked just fine with a good thermostat.. Good luck with yours..Randy
