    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My evil cat caught a 5-lined skink. I've had experience rescuing them from the cats and never got to them in time and they died shortly after capture. Normally when I catch them they are already lethargic and barely move. This one, on the other hand, is crazy moving, obviously not THAT hurt, but still too hurt to be let go.

He has some skin ripped off on top, not deep, but still noticeable. He has a lot of skin torn off on bottom similar to the top, but also a deep wound around his gut area where you can see meat, however it isn't bleeding and I believe it is more of just a flesh wound (similar to scratching your own skin off to where it stings but doesn't bleed). Nothing is coming out of it, in a good way.

I've had him since 6 this morning (4 now) and he has already defecated in the bug box he is in, which I believe means his organs are alright. I have him in a medium size bug box with a paper towel lining the bottom that is well wet with water and some colloidal silver. (The colloidal is a natural antibiotic, I used it on a bullfrogs leg once when his leg had to be cut off after an almost fatal hit by a car. It healed in less than 4 days).

I'm curious what else I should do to help him. I have some fishing crickets and have tried to feed him but he won't eat, which I can understand, but I want to make sure he will make it. Thanks in advance!
