    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Henna's Clutch

Seems to be 1 male albino (my keeper), 1 male het and 3 female hets. At least the odds gods granted a favorable gender ratio. ;)

Whoops. Forgot to add the latest pics. The last three finally decided to vacate their eggs. With this being her first year breeding and brooding, I'm very proud of her. She's been a great mom. :)

Thanks! I feel a bit guilty, though, because there wasn't a female albino for my friend. That was all she wanted out of the clutch. *sigh* Hopefully our other joint project will turn out better and we both get pieds. Hoping so anyway!

Yeah, I was kinda hoping for an albino female out of this one, but unfortunately, the Odd Gods were not on my side. Maybe Sandy will be willing to do the same pairing again when she's ready to breed her female again . . . ;) :D

In any case, the blackback does appear to be genetic; that sire has sired other clutches that produced a blackback here and there. This visual albino makes the third girl he's been paired with, and there's been at least 1 blackback in each clutch. So I'm happy to confirm that, and I was very happy to confirm that he is indeed a het albino. He was sold as a 100% het, though he didn't have paperwork; I did trust the seller though. ;) Plus the price I paid for him wasn't outrageous even if he hadn't proved out. But very glad he did!

OK, so I figure since Sandy has done all of the work on our joint project up until now, it's high time I take some of it! LOL Plus, Sandy was out of room to house babies, and since my females did absolutely nothing this year, I have all the space in the world (for babies at least haha). So anyway, Sandy and I met up last weekend so I could get the hets; they were in shed at the time, but they shed today, so I got a few pics of everyone. No one has eaten just yet, though I offered today, but hopefully they'll begin feeding next week for us.
