Inquiry Herman Delward, Alabama

Looking for info on a guy named Herman Delward who lives in Mobile, Alabama. email [email protected]
we were going to purchase some snakes from him, but he wanted payment through moneygram and we were put off by that seeing as we dont know him. wondering if he is legit or if this is a scam

he asked that we send the money to his daughter:
Full names.......................Angela Cotton.
Address..........................150 S Ann St
City.............................Mobile
State...........................Alabama
then she would arrange the shipping
he also said he has a son named Bill

150 South Ann Street, Mobile, Alabama is a Rite Aid store. Did Herman mention that was where the money order was to go or is that supposed to be where his daughter lives?

A quick search of the name Herman Delward in several search engines turns up nothing, as does the email query.

You're smart to inquire first ... what exactly and where is this person advertising?
Any mention of a phone number?

He said that was his address & i also did a search on it and came up with rite aide and i think it was blockbuster also listed under that address. he wouldnt give me his phone number, said there was a break in the phone line and its supposed to be fixed next week, i told him we wouldnt send money & we wanted to talk to him on the phone first, & i asked if he will email me when his phone is fixed, he said he would, but will see.
he was recommended to me by another person who had already sold what we were looking for, was told Herman might have some

Being that I'm a natural born skeptic, I personally would not pursue this any further. A break in the phone line? Yeah, okay. This is the digital age and Mobile ain't exactly the sticks where phone lines "break".

Again, you are smart enough to have searched Herman Delward and the address, so you will be smart enough to search Sean Nolbert and his alleged email. I come up with nothing on that name and email as well. I think I'd move on.

I hope you find what you are looking for from someone who doesn't appear so questionable.

PS - while it's good to have a valid phone number, remember phone conversations cannot be recorded or reproduced (without a court order).

Email/text communication is always better to cover your butt in the event you later get burned because you can easily produce printed copies of saved emails or screen shots of phone texts as evidence.
