    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Herpetological Breeder Research?

I used to do some business with this JERK back in the early/mid 90s. Till he failed to come through on an order of redfooted tortoises. I kept calling and getting nowhere. He then failed to return calls. One day I get a letter from his "attorney" stating that Ray had filed bankruptcy and I would be getting NOTHING owed to me. So a lesson learned to the tune of a few hundred dollars. Boy was I pissed when a few years after that I see his name again associated with another similar reptile business. Definitely a DIRT BAG. Hope things work out better for you than they did for me.

Thanks, Jeff. I just received the following email from him a few moments ago:

Ok found out what happened. with the computer problems we had somehow your name was transposed to another customers address. her name is Lisa Grubbs she's in La. I e-mailed her and asked her to send at our cost the snakes to you. Yes I know its another screw up but, I will make sure you get animals or a refund.

Traci,

How bad do you need those kignsnakes? Even if you give Ray the benefit and those snakes made it to CA alive and well to this person's house, now she is going to send them to you? The snake's will have been in transit for two plus days by the time they get to your place! Not to mention the fact they were first at Ray's facilities and then at Lisa's place. In all honesty Ray would have been better off to receive back the snakes and refund you. How can he guarantee what kind of shape will the animals be in whent they are shipped to and received by you?

Insurance companies should be aware by now of all the problems herp dealers go through :rolleyes: . It's puzzling the number that end up in hospitals for extended periods time (unrelated to snake accidents mind you!). Also, the number of computer problems, viruses, etc. in the herp industry is appalling! :rolleyes:

It's funny that she had no problem copying an email with Lisa Grubb's full name in it but won't post hers. Not that it has anything to do with the thread, or takes anything away from the negative picture of Ray, but rules are rules. If her name really is Noneya, then that just rocks.

Noone has said I "don't want to play by the rules." I have provided my full name in my posts. Do the rules state that I must provide my full name under my avatar, etc on the left hand side??

Your real full name is required with each post whether under your avitar on as a signature added to each post.

Hey, I went to the CP and tried to find a way to change my last name on my profile, since when I originally signed up I didn't think anyone had any reason to know my last name....So how do I change it??

Sorry Ms. Borgmeyer I can't answer that one. I believe that you have to contact the site owner Rich/WebSlave to get that done but one of the BOI Mods might be able to do it. I just do not know.
