Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i posted this alittle bit ago, but these are my two girls.
the Het albino is kali and i would like to get 200 for her
then the second is the garreck demeyer 2010 albino boa and she is 400
will sell both for 500 or reasonable offer
I wrote this one from my phone but if you'd like pictures I have them. The pictures are actually in the arboreal boa section, I accidentally posted it there, I'm new lol. Just let me know.

sorry to disappoint you, but normal 2010 albinos on this site are selling for under $200....& hets are about $50-$75

$250 would be reasonable for the pair :shrug01:
 
Yea the girl up top is rite ....but ur new so don't take it the wrong way when breeders comment ur pricing ...u should look up on kingsnake.com so u can see what prices are ranging at for ur boas ...if they were 07 's then ur asking price is reasonable ...but there only 2010's....if ur selling them for the price u got it for then u got ripped off bad ...hope this helps u in future sales ....good luck :thumbsup:

Barbara and Anthony, The way I see it, He has the right to ask any price he wants. Are you even interested in buying these animals? Or do you just feel that they are over priced? And feel the need to deface his add. If you have a problem with his price, then pm him and let him know that way. Marking up his ad with YOUR OPINNIONS of his price is not needed seeing neither of you are even interested in buying these.
Somebadboas, Sorry for marking up your ad even more. I just think those post were not needed and could possibly slow up your sales. Good luck with your sales and have a good one. Thanks Jeff
 
Jeff,...your post was no different than our's....considering it was YOUR OPINION that "marking up his ad... is not needed". Not only do you state your opinion as well, but you make assumptions. How did you know I wasn't interested in buying them? Do you know me that well? NO,...you don't!

I'd rather post on this thread INFORMING him his boas are over priced, which they are, than sending him a private message. In the event I did, I wouldn't have been the only one to do so. If people already see that he was INFORMED, they wont bother to post the same response. I could understand if my reply to this ad seemed rude, but it wasn't....I was being real. My reply you on the other hand...not so friendly. Were you considering buyin these boas or did you just feel the need to state your opinion as well? Obviously the 3 of us whom responded to this ad had some interest...otherwise, we wouldn't have clicked on the ad. :shrug01:

Jay, I'm sorry this turned out to be a discussion. I just thought I was helping you get an ideal price range for your snakes, but theres always some tool that feels the need to get involved when THEIR OPINION isn't needed. Good luck with your sale...& if you find someone that will buy at that price, don't think twice about selling to that buyer! ;)
 
the het albino is an 08 not a 2010 but i didnt really know what price to put on them so i tryed to get what i paid for em. i know it might be too much but to me these snakes were worth ever cent and still are. your all intitled to your opinions and i dont mind, i do have to say tho it doesnt help in my future sale lol, but i dont mind im a new member trying to get acquainted to the site.

I agree that my post was "marking up his ad" just like yours, just like I stated in my post at the end. I apologized for that. As for the rest of your post....
1. Your right! I don't know you well enough to make the assumption that you weren't interested in buying these. I don't know you at all! However I didn't assume. You have made 3 posts and none of them state your interest in working out a deal on these, so that says to me that your not interested in buying these, or you would have mentioned that were interested in purchasing them and just wanted a better deal. IMO
2. Obviously by infoming him publicly it didn't deter someone else from informing him publicly. Also what gives you the authority to determine that these are overpriced? You are free to give your opinnion, I just think your method is a little distasteful!! You can go buy an arabesque for $100, Ive seen them on kingsnake. I get all excited until I open the ad and it looks like a $100 arabesque. Same principal with albino's. However, what does give you that authority is being a customer of his and you have shown no intent to become a customer of his.
3. I don't recall reading where he asked for your help in aquiring a selling price, so you are right again! Some "tool" decided to give thier opinnion on his price even though it wasn't asked for nor was it "needed". Ever stop to think that maybe that is what they are worth to him? Who cares if you feel they are not worth that, they are his snakes and you haven't shown any interest in buying them. I just felt it was a little disrespectful of you and I know I wouldn't approve of you coming on my thread and doing that!! I don't think you would like it either!! But I wouldn't mind a pm from someone that informs me how they feel about my price and I could then politely explain why I have that animal priced the way I do. Just because he is new to fauna, does not mean that he is new to the hobby. I don't know Jay, and hope maybe one day we could business together.

Jay- I know how you feel about certain animal's value...I'm the same way with some of my animals. You seem like such a nice easy going guy too. I had an 09 jungle albino (poss coral) female I couldn't even sell on here for $350...lowered her to $300 & still no takers!! Ended up trading her. =/

Jeff....It's funny that in your attempts to prove how I'm "still not interested" you have never once stated that you were interested in these snakes as well. You say "one day do business" but obviously it doesn't seem like you would any time soon. I wonder if it's because you saw the asking price & quickly said "no" to yourself....but if you strongly disagree with my OPINION, go ahead & buy them. =)

I never made myself out to be an "authority" figure...like I said, I was "informing" him since I saw the ad early enough. I'm an avid fauna member, I'm on here several times a day. If people see other ads for the same animals at lower prices, which do you think they will gravitate to? But saying the het is an 08 does change things. (instead of it being a $50-$75 animal it's $100-$150 depending on size...maybe worth more. Other contributing factors may include color, pattern, other posssible genetics, paperwork or being a proven breeder). The price ranges *ARE NOT* my opinion, it's the going rate for the type of animal.

However, I think your unprovoked attack on Anthony & I was pretty "distasteful".....along with your 4 point checklist in Jay's ad. Before you call someone disrespectful, you might want to take a look at your 35 lined response & think it over. Also, if you're going to repeat a word at least spell it right.... O-P-I-N-I-O-N :thumbsup: Have a nice day! :)
