In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Het hybinos, how many have produced them

only 1 in 16 if yur breeding hypos het albino together

a hybino is just a mix of albino and hypo ! could be carrot or tang also !!! 1 in 16 is just the probability , may not end up that way !

Has anyone produced Hybinos originating from a SuperHypoTangerineCarrottail Baldy & a Tangerine Carrottail Carrothead Tremper Giant? Has anyone seen a Hybino with over 50% ct? Just wondering because I have some SHTCTB and a few Tangerine Tremper Carrothead giants I was planning on breeding. Also How about a blazzing blizzard that originated from a Tang Carrottail Carrothead Tremper Giant?

By breeding Hypos het albinos, wouldn't 25% of those offspring be albino? I'd also think that there'd be a possibility that more then one of those babies (albinos) could be actual Hybinos... I mean, the Hybino isn't the result of two recessive genes is it? I'd understand if it was, but isn't it something that is more of a linebred animal?

Or am I off here?

yes you are right !

hypo is linebred ! het albino to het albino can make around 25 percent albinos if they were hypo hetx hypo het you could get a number of hypos from that , and 25 percent of those could be albinos ! this is my understanding , should have just explained it better ! sorry not out to confuse anyone , except myself sometimes lol

Aaron,
How would anyoen be able to produce albinos from a non albino? Breed SHTCTB to albino will give you super hypo tangs het for albinos at best. That is if the SHTCTB wasn't a het. I hsould have blazing next yera and considering breeding it to a hybino.

hybino is a product of 1 reccessive (albino) and 1 linebred trait !!

the "sunglows " or " tangerine carrot-tail hybinos " are product of the albino (reccessive trait ) and 3 linebred traits!!! now we just need to add carrothead (linebred) and giant (reccessive) to the mix !!!! :)

the carrothead carrottail tangerine tremper giants are albinos !!

i think he means if you first made hets , then bred back to make the combo! i personally do not think the carrothead tang c.t. giant albinos have been on the market long enough for that to happen !!!! yet !!!! but could be something ron tremper himself is playing with !!!

think i will ask ron about the chcttga`s

like to know myself if that line was created with any hypos in there somewhere (like hypo tangs or hypo ct`s ) i seriously do not doubt that they were , they have absolutely no spots ( at least mine dont )

correct 24% woyld be albino and if the parents were at least one super hypo you should get at least one hybino.

now what alberto has (which we have discussed) is a line bred (or selectively bred) tangerine albino.

the term hybino was coined by ray hine and is his line crosed with i believe tremper albinos.... ray hine line hypo his a very strong and influential gene... k and n says dominant... others say co-dominant , it may not be either but its a very strong and influential gene.

how as far as the difference between hybinos and for instance albertos line bred tangs. Hybinos do look different at birth the appear lighter and have almost a faded or faint was over the body. selectively bred tang albinos start out looking like nice orange albinos with defined bands (mainly) but over the course of time gain more and more tang almost over taking the body.
sunglows it seems are selectively bred tangerines as albertos are but they just pout a name with them. if you go to www.rayhine.com you can see some of the differences

Aaron,

Groovygeckos you are right , I meant if you first produced hets then bred them. Thats what I meant by originating from the TTCHCTGA . Confusing abreviations huh lol. Tangerine Tremper CarrotHead CarrotTail Giant Albino. Let us know what Ron says if you should ask him GroovyGeckos.

Well guys, I have been working on crosses to produce the sunglow for 3 years now, but in addition to super hypo tangerine and the carrot tail crossed with the albino I added the Tremper giant line to these geckos. I would like to have your opinion on the name for this new morphs, I was thinking of giant hyglo for the selective bred one and the super hyglo for the one created with crossing albino x giant x SHT x CT and the added bonus of a carrot head from the Tremper giant line (I do not have the final result of these crosses yet but hopefully by early next year). I will give you few example of what I am talking about. This first PIC shows a male created by crossing the best Tangerine and carrot tail lines.

Now, we crossed geckos that look like that one (on top) to Temper giants and we got geckos that look like this. This is sample of one of my best het albino and het giant that will be crossed to his siblings to obtain the "Super Hyglo" which is a carrot head giant albino with SHT and CT genes added to it. In a few words a giant sunglow. Unfortunately for us Craig beat us to it and he got to name the morph first and we thought to add the giant line to it to create our new morph.

Now, we are selective breeding the jungle giant to become all tangerine. These geckos should look like a giant sunglow without all the crossing but just with years of work. Here are some example of what I am talking about. This is a young female bred by us. She is only few months old now and I think she will be almost all tangerine.

This is another female bred by us that will be part of the "Giant Hyglo" project.

This is a male Jungle Giant that I bought from Ron when he was young at my last visit there, I think he would have kept this one if he knew what he looks like now, :D

Please let me know what do you think about those names for these morphs that I am working on. Please any questions email me or reply here and I will try to answer as best I can.
Regards Alberto
PS: Since I was on the PICS mode, here is the male that probably will take Drago's place to continue the jungle giant line unless one of my last babies will get to look better.

Alberto you have some beautiful leos I must say. I am hoping to produce some of my own but not any time soon. I have a Tangerine CH CT Tremper Giant and some Tangerine Tremper Giants that I am going to breed to some of my Super Hypo Tangerine CT Baldys so I still have a long while to go. How much are albinos like that jungle you got from Ron going for? I was thinking of maybe getting one or one like the albino you last pictured? Anyhow keep us updated on your progress and the names you came up with sound pretty good.
