Quite the adorable little mutant we have here! A leucistic Colombian rainbow boa that exhibits two different colored eyes, one blue and one black.
When an organism has two different colored eyes it is known as Heterochromia iridum. It is incredibly rare and may be linked to other mutations in the gene pathway that determine melanin distribution. There are rumors that this is how you produce pied rainbows but who knows!
She was captive born here and is eating thawed fuzzy mice. I am asking $1,500 for this truly unique specimen!
