In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey I'm new + Rankins :p

Hi people! My name is Phil.

I'm new to this forum. I have been keeping reptiles since I was 10, and I'm 26 now. I still have a couple beardies, but these days my interest has shifted to Rankins. I got some babies last year, cooled them not too long ago and they have just started breeding. So I thought I would share some pictures of them and of some of the copulations I have caught. Some of these pictures are from my Instagram, so don't let the funny colors fool you! haha. I will do my best to be active here and share more pics as things move along here.

Thanks for looking! I think I might know some of you, I used to frequent kingsnake.com :D

Glad to see the first girl digging her nest! I love this whole process. I can't wait to see eggs and babies in the incubator :D

Eggs!

Cool! 22 eggs total laid, one was a dud right off the bat, and then I lost a few more during the first week :/ but there are still 16 that are going strong and look great. Cross your fingers for healthy babies!
Also, a picture of a few girls nearing breeding size :]

Anyone else on here messing with Rankins? It's a learning process, they are very similar too beardies, but different in interesting ways.

The eggs are this year, a little over a week ago. Hopefully she will lay again. I also have 1 more female with eggs about 2 weeks out from laying.
These things are super cool!

Phil

Glad to share that the eggs started hatching today! :D
I am so excited, it has been so much fun raising the parents and finally seeing babies coming out of the eggs. I can't wait to see them eating and running around.

Hey Dale, right on will do. They are only about 4 days out of the egg right now. Eating like champs but still very little. I'll be selling them in about a month, likely after they shed for the first time. I can keep you posted, also, keep my email [email protected]

Thanks so much. I sent you a PM as well. Keep posting pics, they are awesome. Is there a size difference in eggs of rankins and regular beardies?

Sure thing, here is another shot of them at about 1 week old.

I will be able to ship them soon! In about a week or so

Hey Guys, thanks for the kind words!
Well, the last of them are all gone! I have the babies I am keeping for myself, but all the other babies have sold. Very quickly at that!
I just pulled an adult trio out of cooling, so with any luck I should have more eggs in about a month. These guys are super cool. And even though the care is supposedly the same as bearded dragons, I am finding some subtle differences. Still a lot more to learn, besides, I'm no expert yet, just doing my best with these guys. :D
More pictures!

The babies are all gone now, I kept one or two from the clutch, and man are they fast growers!
This one, born with the others on May 1-4, is pictured here next to her father.
What a beast right? haha

Thanks for looking!
Phil

Caught these guys locking up the last few days, looks like another round of eggs should be coming my way soon! Really excited about this pair. They are both super tough animals with great body structure. Mom showed a little color when she was younger too, so maybe some babies will have a little color to them.
