    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Okay I have looked around and haven't found the answer I am looking for. What the heck is a Hidden Gene Woma? I feel stupid

It's a morph. It's COMPLETELY different from the other morph simply called Woma. And that morph is completely different from the SPECIES, woma python. Woma was called such because it resembles a woma python's pattern. The Hidden Gene Woma looked like a Woma ball, but it did some wacky stuff to offsping that the "normal" Woma didn't. So Kevin said, "There must be a gene hidden in there..." -- hence the name Hidden Gene Woma.

Hidden gene woma granite is a codominant gene but with a (nearly always) fatal super form. In the heterozygous form, the animal can wobble, similar to other genes (e.g. champagne, spider). Also, HGWG has fatal combinations with some other genes.

Like Zachary said, HGWG is completely different from the woma ball python morph and the woma python of Australia. I personally like how they look, but some folks choose not to keep them in their collections due to the issues above.

Thanks that helped a lot. No wonder my local shop is selling so cheap. I may pick her up anyway she kinda looks cool.

Personally, if it's a hatchling-subadult between $100-$250. If it's a proven breeder, around $400-600. All dependent upon size and gender, of course. But that's just me. Checking personals is a good idea (though I haven't).
