    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I NEED HELP!!! MY BAL PYTHON SHED LAST NIGHT AND NOT ALL OF IT CAME OFF, I KNOW IT WAS KINDA MY PART BECAUSE THE HUMIDITY WASNT UP TO WHAT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE, AND NOW HE HAS A LOT OF SKIN STILL ON HIM, AND I TRYED SPRAYING HIM WITH A LOT OF WATER AND THEN I GAVE HIM A BATH, BUT HE DIDNT LIKE THAT, SO HE LIKE JUMPED OUT OF IT AND WENT UNDER SOEMTHING, AND I COULDNT GET HIM OUT, SO I BROKE OFF MY CLOSET DOOR TO MAKE SURE HE WOULDNT GET FLATTENED, AND THEN HE STILL HAS A LOT OF SKIN STILL ON HIM AND HE IS HISSING A LOT NOW, AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I NEED ANSWERS ON WAHT TO DO
 
Take a wet paper towel or a wet bath towel and put him inside. Have him try to crawl out from it. This usually helps with my balls when they don't completly shed. Otherwise you can wet your hands down with warm water and wet him down with warm water and massage him till the loose shed comes off.

You may want to wait awhile to be sure that he needs your help. He may just need a little more time to get the tricky part of his shed off.

Be very careful as the shed may still be firmly attatched and you don't want to hurt him.

For future sheds provide a small tupperware box with a hole in the lid. Put an inch or so of pete moss that is dampened but not soaked inside of it. This way he can lay in there prior to shedding which helps alot.

If there is still old skin on him its not the end of the world, just try some of the methods mentioned above.

Did his eyecaps come off in the portion he did shed?
 
if the snake is stressed out and hissing at you , try giveing him a contaner large anough for it to get all the way in and soak. less stress full and no risk of you getting bit. you did say it was hissing alot
