My name is Kelley and I'm from Colorado.
We have had two Leopard Gecko's for along time now
but two years ago my son wanted a Ball Python so we got one -- and wow what an experience. I have always liked snakes and now we are more hooked than ever. We ended up buying another ball python from my son's friend who had deceided he not longer wanted it. Poor thing had at least 3 layers of shed on her when we took her - but we got her fixed up and she is beautiful now even though my son has named her Scar -- Then this past year I bought a Brazilian Rainbow Boa, he is a beautiful boy but a bit nippy, we have since named him Mr. Nasty because he does like to strike at you.. really just to say leave me alone. We have since rescued two bull snakes and a racer from my husbands job site as they were dug up while hibernating -- until it gets warmer here in Colorado and we can release them we have taken them in, got them to eat and one of the Bull's has already shedded once. It it amazing to watch them eat such a difference from the constrictors -- and the bulls have actully become little beggers, once they see me pearing in at them they look at me like "is it time to eat" -- one bull actually excaped and was loose in our hose for about a month, yes people think we are crazy -- we eventually found him and put him back in a new cage with locking lid! LOL! I'm now looking to add a Dumerils Boa to our family that is how I found this site - searching to purchase one. It is so interesting to read all the information here - I'm now just CRAZY about snakes! - now my younger son wants a Caiman.. hmm I think not!
