• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hello, new member here and no longer a lurker, lol. I'm a mom to a future arachnologist (or entomologist!) son. At 5 he already knows a few species and loves observing Ts. He has been asking quite awhile for a G. Pulchra and they're by far his favorite besides the wolf spider. I did extensive research for months and continue to in order to support his passion and know how to care for one when the time comes. I want to surprise him this Christmas with a T. I'm going to be the "parent" until he is old enough to car for a T responsibly, but for now he can observe and admire up close. :)

He is ASD and has sensory issues, meaning he doesn't like handling/holding an animal of any sort. Especially dogs. He likes to watch T's and fish when we're out at aquariums or videos at home. I think it's a win/win. I know G. Pulchras are stubborn to breed here in America and finding a breeder selling slings are hard to come by (I've been searching since June, oy).

Anyone have info on breeders that are currently selling slings? Any advice? Worth a try asking, lol. I'm also a member in a few FB groups and Arachnoboards. So far no luck.:shrug01:
