I always have time for those whom I like in here. I did see it, and no I met no one else but David. There was someone working in the rodent breeding area, but I could care less about seeing feeder animals to be quite honest, I never like to get attached(believe me I have a damn pet rat in my living room now lol, but he is cool). There were many cages, homemade mostly but lots of sweater box type things for the smaller animals and such. I would say for large constrictors there were at least 50 cages and then tons of smaller cages with other stuff. My passion is AfRocks so I was looking mostly at those, and the patternless are sooo awesome I might add, but there was definately a lot of stuff and a lot of morphs and such. The albino granite that fell under a lot of question as to being kept in to small of a cage looked fine(in shed when I got there) and she is BIG, but she had plenty of room for a burm, as they are not active, especially at that size when well fed. Also honestly I was concerned about the screen/wire(whatever the proper term) fronts with the retics, knowing how much they like to push, but not one of them had a mark on their face, I was shocked. He said he hasnt had one problem with them, and it showed. They are obliviously cared for and content, because anyone who has kept retics knows they will push for food, or even boredom or lack of space, and Afrocks are pushers too if upset. All in all I was impressed and felt comfortable leaving my animals behind there, otherwise they would have been staying in NJ with a friend who offered to take them for a bit if things did not work out, until I got myself together. Irregardless to the outcome of this whole thread I feel 100 percent confident in the well being of my animals there and other than with myself would rather have them nowhere else. I have pics since they have been down there, and they look excellent, healthy and happy, what more can I ask for? I probably come off a bit selfish, and in this case I am, I worry much more about my animals well being than who David is/was/will be. To me it's not important, because the person I met cares for his animals as much as I do, and sadly this day in age people see numbers not individuals, so this is rare. Its all about increasing profits and so forth, while David is out to make money, and who isnt, I can tell you he does care very much about those animals, and that is something you can not lie about. Its not about what a person says, its the way their face lights up when they talk about them and interact with them, that childish almost giddy nature of absolute bliss. Will David come thru on his baby deal with me, only time will tell, but until then I feel that he will, and has given me no reason whatsoever to disbelieve him, regardless of anything that has been said here. You bet, I would feel 100% confident that my snakes were going to be well taken care of by a person of this caliber!!! :: insert sarcasm ::

C'mon Dan... There is the distinct possibility that he is hiding from the law and/or runs the risk of being or getting in trouble again, he's a thief, he was convicted of homicide, he has dillusions of grandeur, he is a pathological liar, and is most likely clinically paranoid delusional - big breeders conspired to deliberately infect his collection with IBD???? I don't know if that's sad, comical, insane, or utterly assinine; all of those, actually.

Am I a psychologist? Nope, and I'm not a rocket scientist; I have no need to be either. Neither do you.

How long until the law catches up to him or he implodes, and your animals are quickly sold off or abandoned? Yesiree, I'd be really confident they're in a safe place.

There are some in this thread who are not open to opinion other than their own and those people are few and far between, but they do exist. I always keep an open mind. Everyone knows where I stand at the time and if that changes you will know, believe me, but until something happens that changes my view I am where i am. .

Well I will address Ritchie first as far as the license goes. I have no need nor desire to see a copy of Davids license. It has no bearing about how I feel about where my snakes are or how they are being cared for. I get my regular updates and pictures and I am satisified.

As to the post by soulsmilen(sorry if I butchered your name, going off memory here). I dont really know how to respond to this. All I can say is that I have not seen proof of many of these things although I have not read thru many of the threads outside of this one. I like to meet someone and make my own judgements. My absolute best friend in the world, and only person I would trust my life with, she is actually who gets my life insurance policy when I meet my end- thats how much I trust her) I was told by many to stay away from. Had I listened to everyone else we would have never become so close. Many of my other friends told me she was nothing but trouble ect, but when I hit rock bottom they were nowhere to be found and she was there to get me through, and without her I question whether I would even be here anymore. Point being sometimes you have to make a judgement call on your own and see where that road leads. I do not regret my choice to sell my snakes to David at this point regardless of his past or present. He looked me straight in the face, and did not give me even a bad feeling, and for everyone saying he has such poor intrapersonal skills, well he certainly did not in person. I respect everyone elses opinions, but I prefer to make my own calls, and am prepared for any consequences that may bring. Knowing now what this man is capable of...Im glad Jim had someone watching his back....doesnt sound like someone you can trust as far as you can throw em. Did you know statistically 99% of those people who have committed a murder have been proven to practice on animals first!! How can someone be comfortable with their animals with a person of this caliber??? on another note if he does have more customers out there then have spoken up can you BLAME them for keeping mum about ANY knowledge of this guy? HELL he has their names numbers address and who knows if he takes paypal he may even have more important info about these people and for the sake of fearing for their own safety dont feel its worth the risk of coming forward and possibly provoking this mans negative attention. We know hes capable of murder and who knows what other nasty niceties he indulges in. I for one cant sit mum when animals are in question which is why i now have a dissabled pit puppy sitting in front of my heater LOL. Im one to go well above and beyond for my animals and animals in general. HEH has not shown themselves to warrant the care of ANYTHING especially animals NOR children which sadly he does have both.

People that commit murder are more then likely to commit a lesser crime (robbery, burglary, battery ect...) once releasted from prison, It has been shown that Damon/David/HEH hasproved this to be a fact. He is not a person to be trusted he is the person that weman should fear that if you see him on your street people should hide the kids,animals and things a value pull down the blinds and lock your doors.

I am very open minded, but in my opinion based on what I have read here there is a lot of hearsay and some facts, but not enough to incriminate someone and ruin their life. David does not owe me any money whatsoever, I received cash on the spot, and didnt even have to ask for it, he made sure that was taken care of first thing, and there is a lot to be said for that. The agreement that we made says that when my snakes breed I get a pair of babies from each female. Now if they dont produce, oh well for me, but if they do, I will be able to start rebuilding my collection as I plan on being stable by the middle of this year, and am on that track now as planned. Mr. Lawson-if you read back to previous post of mine(no idea what numbers, and honestly dont have time to look, sorry) you will see why I have been willing to defend my animals, their well being, and their current home. As to you Ritchie, I never said I agreed with Doctoring pictures, I just said to me its not the end of the world or even that big of a deal, especially considering all professional photographers do it to make the best pictures. Is it lying, maybe, it is dishonest, probably, but in todays world is it really a huge crime, definately not. You can ask any person I have done business with that I have never over misrepresented anything, and everything is always as good or better than promised. I pay rapidly, and never try to beat anyone out of anything. Dan knows that Damon has his snakes and therefore, despite the variations in Dan's story, he knows he is at the mercy of Damon and therefore will NOT say a word against him. We could obtain Damon/David's driver license proving they are one in the same. We could obtain court records of the crimes Damon has committed. Heck, we could probably even get the families affected by Damon to come on here and give witness to his atrocities and it would not change Dan's point of view one iota.

Dan has proven himself incapable of making intelligent and rational thoughts. He has told us countless times that he is having a hard time making ends meet yet here he is playing on the internet on company time! It's one poor decision after another so why waste your/my time trying to convince him of something that he will refuse to see?

If someone could come in here with solid proof, I would belief it no doubt about it, but that has yet to be done, not to mention you keep saying Damon has my animals- David has my animals. The funny thing is that all of you guys come in here and bash his business with everything you have, yet out of everyone in this thread I believe I am the only one who has actually seen the place in person, and Jim and I are the only two to meet him face to face, and neither of us said he looked like that picture you posted of Damon. Both of us did say we were not sure, but that picture looked like a guy I used to work with as well, and more so then David, so thats not saying much. I respect the stuff everyone has dug up, and respect others opinions, but to form an opinion on someone you have not met, and on a facility you have not seen is called being judgemental and something you were supposed to learn not to do in elementary school-sorry you missed that lesson. If you are a judge or police officer than I understand being concerned with circumstancial evidence, but that is not something that should be of concern to the general public. If I had been someone who never met David and didnt know him/have met him, maybe this thread would have caused me to be a little leary of HEH, but I would not hesitate to buy from him when I do start my collection back up again in the next year or so. I have seen the animals and they are happy and healthy, and well cared for, thats all I ask out of a breeder. As far as company time goes I come in to work a half hour to hour early and leave a half hour late everyday and work every other saturday off the clock, so if I take a few mintues here and there it is not an issue. I never call out sick, only missed a day to move, and one to deliver those snakes to David, which my boss gave me off in advance. SO you should not speak when you know nothing of the situation, you know what they say about assuming things. I am not trying to be a jerk, but if I come across as one to you Bob, it just makes us even, I dont try to discredit you at all, and because you share a difference in opinion does not make the other person irrational. I also love the "variations" in my "story". There is no variations of the truth my friend, it is what it is. I do not think that I have any real problem with your opinion that David is OK by you, for whatever reasons are yours. I lose no sleep over your lack of wisdom. I do think that you have wasted an enormous amount of your time here thinking that your posts are going to have any positive impact anywhere though. In all your verbage, you have taken certain positions that go beyond saying that David is OK, and reflect more upon your ethics, or lack thereof:

Several times you have defending the doctoring of pictures, comparing it first to women using make-up, and now to what professional photographers do. What David stands accused of is considered fraud. He is doctoring pictures so as to misrepresent products for sale so as to defraud customers. It is not the "doctoring of pictures" or "application of make-up" that is the crime, it is the intent to defraud. Others have made this point countless times, and yet you are still here, back every day with a longer-handled shovel, and doing a pretty good job of not casting yourself in a good light. Sorry bro, but with friends like you, David Damon needs no enemies ...... which unfortunately, he's got plenty of as well.

THe major difference in these two threads is evidence. In Allen's case that thread opened with a veterinary report that showed a snake that came from there that died of IBD, also IBD is a very serious situation, nothing David has done could cause a person to lose his/her entire collection like Allens mishap could have. HUGE difference. Also there were pictures of how his cages were kept and it was absolutely awful, a crap here or there is one thing, but once it gets moldy its been there for a while. Also if you were to use all the facts, and not select those which suit your case, I did say that David should come here and defend himself, but I understand why he would not want to. I do think he should clear it all up and you can ask him I emailed him to that effect, but I can not twist his arm, he is an adult and has made his choice, and thats fine. The major problem is that a lot of the problems that got this whole thread going originated on other sites where certain members here are moderators or friends of mods over there, so most of those post have been removed, irregardless I agree that David should do what is neccesary to clear the air, but he does not have to should he chose not to, this isnt the law or anything for that matter, its just the BOI(biased opinions & Information) as it should be called. It is threads like this that make it lose its credibility as a fair and useful tool. I still have some faith in this system, but it dwindles as time goes on. The same I said about Allen applies to David as a matter of opinion, but Allen wasnt attacked without solid proof, David has been. There are no court documents, vet reports, police reports, positive photo ids, or anything here that proves your case, the burden of proof is on the accuser in this case, not the accused. Dan M.
