In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I think most tax assessors don't include sheds that are up on cinder blocks. If it was on a proper foundation, then it would be considered a perm. building and taxed. My dad bought a large shed (10x25 I think) several years ago and he originally wanted it set on a poured concrete floor, but it was recommended to him to have it put up on cinderblocks instead so that it would be considered a temp. structure (not taxed) and not a perm. building (taxed).

This is actually kind of a grey area. Even if you put a shed on cinderblocks, it can be considered a permanent structure if it has electricity and water run to it. Depends on the mood of the assessor or inspector who looks at it.

If you put a shed on a poured foundation, then it does need to be permited, and will be added to the assessor's records.

Guys

While I agree that David is undoubtedly Damon and that some of Dan's statements have been less than accurate to the point of being misleading, I have to say that you guys have pretty much driven the "Building = Shed = Facility" discussion into the ground. My first "facility" was a 10 X 10 enclosed screen porch. My next one was a 14 X 27 1 car garage. That one is now my growout / baby room and nursery. Right off the top of my head, I can name 6 very well known name breeders who make a nice living off of their animals whose "facilities" would not meet with the definition of the word a few of you have lent to it. A couple of them have international reputations. I am talking about insulated sheds, walled off sections of barns, garages with window shakers, and converted 2nd or third bedrooms.

The definition of "facility" is extremely subjective. Just because someone thinks of a "facility" as a large commercial building does not mean that everyone does. I currently have my breeders in a detached two car garage that measures 45 X 48. When someone comes over who operates on a much smaller level, they are impressed as hell. Conversely, I doubt Mark Bell or Gourmet Rodent would feel the same.

With so many other glaring points to aim at in this thread, I think this one counts as a complete non issue and is somewhat condescending to those who do not operate out of 20,000 sq ft warehouses.

Just my opinion though

I sent the photo and news artical to Oackdale and there is not question about it David is Damon according to a person living in Oakdale.

These people do not like what they have read in the artical but what they plan to do (if anything other then make the police awhere of it) I do not know. But I do know that a convicted felon MUST REPORT TO THE LOCAL POLICE DEPT WHEN MOVING TO A NEW TOWN. Since Damon is convicted of a capital offence he should also have a probation officer. So maybe yet another visit to the grey bar hotel is in his future. :NoNo:

How can one be given/assigned a probation officer for a conviction when one has failed to appear in court to be convicted and chose instead to make a run for it and left the state?

Well, unless it is some local ordinance, this simply is not true. It is totally dependent upon the offense. Sex offenders, for example, are required to register their address when ever and where ever they locate, but not so with other felonious crimes, guilty and served time or not.
If he was actually sentenced, and did time, he would have had a Parole officer when released, but that only lasts as long as they (the board of Parole) deem necessary. Than he's a free man again, with a record of course.

But, I'll almost guarantee state ID to be a requirement almost everywhere once you hit 18. And if not able to produce one, (this happened to me once) they haul you down to run your finger prints through NCIC. Of course, would still depend on local laws on identification.

Just thought I'd throw that in there.

On a capital offence such as murder and manslauter on parole or not you must regester with any police station at any new town you move to. As far as the Az. charges go you are currect, since he ran like a little girl he will have a warrent but it will only be served/inforced if he goes back to Az. Because the charges are a misdermener and since he served his time and is not on parole or probation he did not violate anything.

While there are some states that require it, the majority do not unless is a sex crime.

Also, given that manslaughter doesn't have the death penalty as a punishment, it isn't a captial crime.

HEH has a [sarcasm]GREAT looking[/sarcasm] Retic for sale right now on Kingsnake. I guess you pay exra for scars nowadays.

I guess photoshopping away that stuck shed was too advanced.

21 ads total on kingsnake....Kind of looks like the rat is about to jump ship.

Vitalisse, I do believe you are right. It looks like HEH is a thing of the past  but now for the bad news, all those people that were on th payment plan will now lose they money :hot:

If these people that have given him $$$$ read this they need to get it back now!!!!!!! If you wait you will lose it. Damon/Brian/David Owns nothing and has no type of legal business and since he used a alias if will be hard if not impossible to take legal action against him.

But there is another twist, It is possible that all these snakes are for sale because Damon is back in jail. Remember the Oakdale police were told about Damon and we know that he had a outstanding warrent.

Next week ther maybe a new "BIG TIME BREEDER" on the scene:

NAME: Richard Cranium

Company name; S.O.S. REPTILES "Stuck on stupid"

Good to those people that have given him any money.

hmm... if David was really intending to jump ship and make a run for it, would it not be logical to lower the price to sell quick rather than leave the prices at such a high level? or maybe this is a repeat of what damon did... attempt to sell stuff publicly, then claim to have sold everything, run away but get caught in the process of running away and proving he never sold his stock in the first place.

I just read the 'feedback' section of his site...

I'm quite sure most (if not all) of these emails are staged..

I enjoyed this line..."you are simpley the new reptile god and I know that isn't just my opinion but my bros and all my friends that like reptiles too"

Check out the second "email" though..."Edits" out the breeder's name, but if you continue reading, you learn that the breeder's first name is Bob. Hmmm...Wonder who he is referring to? That's a rather serious allegation....

 I'd guess it's just another attempt to further his "reputation"

No doubt some of those feedbacks are fake. The last two he posted are really obvious. Also, the one by John A. (the second one down) magically appeared on there the same time he was getting called out in a post on Bob Clark's site. He asked Bob to take the post down from his forum, but Bob wouldn't do it. Then right after that "David" posted that feedback on his site where he is obviously talking about Bob Clark.

Griz actually touched up on his feedbacks being fake in the business forum. I believe it was in the post about his half off for poor people deal.

As to these comments concerning the crosses that we produce and sell: Y'all are more than within your God given rights to state your opinion and we respect everybodies opinion equally. But it was a little irresponsible and slightly underhanded to post such comments as "they got duped" or, "they're ripping people off", etc, without knowing us, our customers, or the facts surrounding these transactions. For the record everything we sell comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee for 4 full months. So, regardless of what anyone pays for their snakes, they can bring them back at any time, no questions asked.

Not being duped? Are you :censored: kidding me? You are advertising a 25% Diamond/25% Jungle Carpet/50% Irian Jaya for $3000! You are making people believe that they are getting something special, when they can buy the ingredients to make those snakes for $250! They are nothing special, I don't care if they come with a 15 year guarantee.

Give me a break!

Do you really think they are fake?

His feedback happen to talk about the exact same things he brags about.

"Oh this snake is so tame"

Really?!?!?! first off he gets a new snakes weekly. when does he have time to handle 100's of snakes.

Second, he keeps his babies and breeders in the same place he keeps his "quarantinte" animals.

PLEASE

where is that dave M guy? he went to hide?
