Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

you photos are awful, and you have a pricelist without showing any of the snakes that are actually listed! Could you not take the 5 minutes to look at other sites and follow accordingly?

That is because most of what he has listed he doesn't actually have available.

During the searches it was discovered they don't even know how to spell their own last names. Doing a seardch on David or Tawni Beauchemin reviels nothing in Loiusiana.

However, take the "U" out and it yields Tawni, at the address listed in the site and other places.

no news there... Damon couldn't even spell his own real name. :)

Are you allowed to do that in the States? Just change your name as you see fit and open up businesses etc? What about taxes etc? How would the State know what you have paid and what you haven't? And regarding cars.. surely it is ilegal for someone to be driving around in a car that is registered to someone else?
Anyone can legally change one's name, but it takes a lot of paperwork and trips to several gov't offices, etc. And even if a new SSN were obtained, the fact that the name was legally changed would still be able to lead back to the person's original name, records, business dealings, taxes, etc.; when one's name is not legally changed (i.e., a made-up alias), well then of course those records won't connect to the real person's name. The only way I could see Damon Heynen's name being legally changed, considering his criminal background, would be if he were in a Witness Protection Program; and I don't see that, I personally see someone else entering such a program to be safe from Damon Heynen before the former scenario. The fact that Damon Heynen seemed to just drop off the face of the earth after the "AZ Noah's Ark" incident, with no trace, would indicate that he is in fact hiding; without having had his name legally changed. Last I heard, they don't put a person into a Witness Protection Program for to protect one from one's own criminal background.

Yes, you can drive a car that is registered to someone else. It only needs to have proof of registration and insurance, but the person driving the vehicle does not have to be the registered owner. In the case of a driving ticket, it's the driver that would get the citation, not the registered owner of the car. (Unless the citation were, say, a parking situation, and the ticket placed on the windshield; then the citation is the legal responsibility of the vehicle's registered owner, as it cannot be proven who was driving the car before it was illegally parked. Same with the intersection cameras they've got installed here and there to catch those who run red lights, etc.: it again would be the registered owner citated, not the driver, as the driver cannot be proven with the stoplight cameras.)

I'm currently undergoing the exhausting process of having my last name legally changed to that of my common-law husband. Due to financial reasons, we can't get married and file a marriage license for well over another year. We don't really care about the gov't recognizing OUR vows, so the obtaining and filing of a marriage license can wait until the financial hiatus is over. We're in the works of planning our wedding ceremony that is for us, our family, and friends; to be married "in our hearts" but without the legalities until the next year or two. All of this is perfectly legal, and although I don't know all of the steps involved as of yet, I do know that it can be quite a process to get my surname legally changed. Now, if we were married according to the eyes of the gov't, then it would be a lot less work for me to get my surname changed. But I don't care about the work involved, as this is what I want for me; and once we're married with a marriage license to file, I'd be changing my surname to his, anyway. :)

And yes, that means that currently my surname is not Crosby, it is Haskell. However, with the changing of my surname already in progress, I didn't feel like signing up to a web site with my current surname when it's about to be changed to my fiance's. If Damon/David is insinuating that I've been "lying" because of my surname listed, well, here is the solution to that equation. ;)

~~ Kathryn ~~

P.S.[/]
I also use Kat Crosby as my "stage name" as I am a vocalist/performer (my fiance and I work together in music), and "Kat Crosby" simply flows better than "Kat Haskell".... so I also figured, since I'm using my fiance's surname on stage, why not just change it legally now since we're going to have a wedding ceremony in a couple of months even it is is without filing a marriage license? :)

Wow.. me and my ex just had our divorce come through in Florida, and she changed her name back to her maiden name with no problems.. a bit more paperwork, but we just sat down and did it all together.. obviously the fact that we are still best mates helped us get the divorce sorted easier... I can imagine if two people really hated each other, and everything was through lawyers, it would be a nightmare.

Re the car.. That was dumb on my part, as i drove my in laws cars all the time lol. Re Aliases.. can you not be prosecuted for doing that? Surely the law woudl be interested in knowing that a criminal is living in their area and using a false name (and so might have slipped under their nets)?

Forgot to add, even though it should be quite apparent....

If David/Damon is claiming that I'm just lying in here because of the surname difference, then the question would be.... How would "David" know this, if he doesn't know Damon Heynen? Either way, "David's" claims that I'm lying in here could only be accurate if:
  1. David is indeed Damon Heynen, and
  2. I am indeed lying about Damon Heynen
Just food for thought, David/Damon/Brian/Josh/Whoever.

It's always wonderful to hear when a marriage doesn't work out, but the couple can still be civil to each other; much less friends. I still have a close friendship with my ex-husband, whom I divorced 17 yrs. ago. :)

Like I said, it's a lot less work changing one's surname when a marriage/divorce is involved. Still work and trips to gov't agencies, but not nearly as much work as someone who "just" wants to change one's name.

No, you can't be prosecuted for legally changing your name, that's why it is legal. :yesnod: Again, with all of the paperwork and gov't trips involved, and having to show proofs of who you are, etc., then legally going through the process of changing one's name would not cause law enforcement lose privy to one's background; criminal or not. Now, a neighbor wouldn't know of one's name change, unless the neighbor decided to do a full background check on the person. And let's face it, how many people just up and decide to do background checks on one's neighbors?

So David....

Just what are these lies I've posted in here?

What are your proofs?

How would you know of my so-called "lies" if you are, indeed, David and not Damon?

I'm quite interested this one.

Kathryn, am sure glad you showed up here!! I was hoping that somewhere along the way that David would own his past and work to put it behind him. I'm local to you also and have followed this soap opera from the beginning also. Do you know if David was active in the SWHS, San Bernadino branch? We met monthly at the museum in SanBerdo and during my early years in the hobby there were a lot of people I met there who's faces I'd recognize...... but am so bad to remember names.

He appears to want to continue in the reptile business, it's true that nobody has reported having a bad experience when purchasing a snake through him (although we don't know if he really has sold any). The only way this will ever be put to rest is to come clean and work to build decent reputation with honesty. If he's really the decent man he claims to be, he should be able to see that there is room for redemption in most peoples hearts.

We all know who David is, it would have been too simple to prove otherwise as has been asked many times here. Post ID, Business license, Articles of Inc in what state. So simple, seems to me no honest person would refuse to provide at least some sort of proof. Seems already to me that the game, "What my name" is over.

Hi Cathy,

Unfortunately, I don't know what the SWHS is, so I can't answer that. But I've also never known Damon to have been involved in any sort of "organized" group. He was very much a loner.

Funny you said all of that about redemption, etc., as I was going to post the same ideal. Why can't Damon Heynen, whoever he is posing as today, just stick to his own name as well as his past? Everyone has a past that is left in the past, things one isn't so proud of having done, experienced, etc., and Damon Heynen is only one example.

Honestly, I'd have no problem whatsoever purchasing animals from even an ex-con (hell, my ex bf is an ex-con, and his life is completely turned around; he's glad that he went to prison, else he'd still be living a criminal life; exactly the same with my cousin's husband), so long as the seller simply shows me that s/he is honest in the business through which I am seeking to deal.

Damon Heynen doesn't need a new identity to attempt to run an honest business. All he needs is to simply fess up, use his real name/identity, and prove to himself as well as to others that he indeed is an honest person who is a good businessman with whom to work. That's it, pure and simple.

Everyone deserves redemption, if one does the work to deserve it. :yesnod:

Furthermore, although I can only go by what others have posted RE: High End Herps' "facilities" and its condition, I can in all fairness say that the Damon Heynen I knew absolutely loved his animals, more than his own life itself, and he took wonderful care of them; most especially the reptiles. One time the cops and the Humane Society were sent to his San Bernardino house because of him having the alligators, and the Humane Society stated that the outdoor setup/pond/etc. as well as the care of his animals in general were immaculate, and in as good condition as any zoo or animal rescue facility.

Tom and I are in the market anywhere from the next couple months to the next year, for a snake (I can't remember if Tom prefers boa or python right now) and for water dragons. With all I've seen of this thread, as well as HEH's horrifically sloppy & unprofessional site itself (as well as photos that can't tell me what I'd actually be purchasing), I'd never buy from them. Even knowing for an unrefutable fact that HEH is indeed run by Damon Heynen, I still wouldn't buy from HEH because of the unprofessional site as well as all of the blatant dishonesty in this thread. If Damon were to just say who he is, and be honest in anything and everything else, I would buy from Damon before anyone else because of all the care I witnessed him take care of his animals. But I will not purchase anything from anyone who even might be dishonest in business dealings of any sort. Period.

I'm not here to defend or attack anyone. I decided to post after reading all of this hyperbole, and thought I would attempt to be of any help possible in resolving this.

If you so easily found my middle name and birth year, then I'm sure you found at least one URL at my domain. I googled my name in quotes (without the middle name) and the first results were links to different pages of my site. Which, aside from some photos a year or so ago, I haven't updated since I was about 30.

I could possibly supply pertinent info, if it doesn't require photos as I have none. All I have is my memories and reports of them.

Reverse cause/effect I'm looking for? I'm not looking for anything but the truth. Furthermore, David/Damon sure hasn't had quite the grip on his posts as he did before I came along, so perhaps the effect you might be looking for is David/Damon to lose it enough to confess again.

Sorry you're not convinced I'm being up front. Totally. Thing is, Keith, I'm not here to convince you or anyone else of anything. I came in here to find out once and for all if David is in actuality Damon, or if it's all one huge conspiracy and coincidence. (But the "walks like a duck, quacks like a duck" saying comes into mind here RE: that issue.)

Any more interrogations? I already have enough bombarded at me by HEH's posts, which I will not satisfy with answers due to the obvious reasons which I'd already stated in this thread to him. Sorry if you don't like that I'm trying to help this BOI, as well as satisfy my own curiosities.

Apparently, High End Herps is now resorting to spamming for customers. I just received this e-mail:

"Hello Chance, We just wanted to let you know that this week we areletting our Tribrids (triple hybrid?intergradediamond/Irian jaya/jungle carpet) go for only 250 each or400 for a pair. These triple hybrid/intergrades are alreadyamazing looking at three months old but they will continueto beautify with each and every shed. In addition to thisthese have a very special underlying genetic quality thatwe will share with every Tribrid owner. When bred togetherthese amazing triple hybrids will produce very special andunique offspring. How special we don’t just tell anyone. Ifyou get some we will share this with you. These will move very fast so if you want some please let usknow A.S.A.P. Don't forget to check out our newly updated website too. Wealready have over 600 new pictures of different morphs onit and we're shooting for over 1000 pics before all is saidand done. Thank You,David and Tawni BeaucheminHigh End Herps Inchttp://www.HighEndHerps.com/318 335-3673"

I don't really appreciate any spam, much less a reptile breeding trying to pawn off intergraded/hybrid carpets that anyone can make in his/her basement. I am actually trying to build up an Aussie herp collection, but would rather avoid hybrid Morelia like the plague for now. Anyway, I'm assuming he acquired my e-mail through the time I wrote him some months ago asking about some animals he had. Ah well. Is anyone else getting these?

over 600 pictures of different morphs?

Perhaps he forgot to put them up before sendig that e-mail.

And make sure you only ask about those tripple hybrid carpets.
Because he does not have much of anything else.

at least that is what some of his customers are e-mailing me.

You have got to be kidding me.

Wow, you know, I guess I didn't even read the e-mail very closely. I missed the whole "special genetics" part. So I'm assuming they must be het albino or het granite...otherwise, their offspring are just going to like more muddied intergrades. In general I have nothing against hybrids, but I'm starting to see the 'other side's' argument more and more. Is it even possible to go out and buy a pure jungle, coastal, or diamond any longer??
